Okay, first off, thank you. :D The response to the latest chapter of 'The Elements of Harmony and the Savior of Worlds' was immense. I'm highly grateful to all of you. Thank you so much!
Now, for the meat of this blog post. I recently got the new box of blind bag mini-figures in the mail. I got a glittery Gilda figure. And okay, I set it aside glanced at the bio, but then paused as it just hit me...
After Griffon the Brush-Off, that is just SAD. Like legit sad, with a tinge of tragedy.

I hope Gilda reappears and they make up
It's an alternate continuity. After all, in the toy line Twilight and Blueblood have a kid.
Perhaps they're trying to establish that by Hasbro canon, Gilda and Rainbow Dash patched up off-screen. Given that Trixie's getting a lot of respect and positive portrayal in the comics, it seems Hasbro's writers support the idea of friendship and forgiveness. (A good lesson to teach children, admittedly.)
We'll see if Big G gets a return on the show or in the comics. Shame they wasted an opportunity in Rainbow Falls - one of those griffon athletes could've been her. Would've been easy.
Also, I'm trying to complete that set. Only missing five. I keep getting Applejacks.
Damn it. Harsher in hindsight or just plain tear jerking?
Eh, I'm hoping for an on-screen patching up in season 5. That said, Gilda apologizing to Flutters HAS to be part of any reconciliation.

But seriously fuck the toys. Hasbro makes all their MLP money off the toys and gives no shits about them. The show is a glorified commercial yet is amazing and well handled. Hasbro are morons.
