When will I stop ranting and venting my frustration on FimFiction

First of all: please don'thatemepleasedon'thatemepleasedon'thateme.
This is just to get the anger and also ughhhhhh-ness out of my system. Ok, firstly: never go onto Youtube comment, unless you want to curl up in a ball, facehoofing at the internet's simple minds, ignorance and stupidity.
I was watching a Ryan Higa video. He's funny and swears a lot less than I had anticipated. He's original and cool, you know, cool. It was a video called 'How to be Emo.' Of course, everything he does is a joke. He's never purposefully offended anyone, as far as I'm aware of. Now, I INSTANTLY knew that just with a title like that, the video's comments would consist of people raging about how offensive it was and how self-harm was a serious issue. I agree with that. Self-harm is a serious issue and more teenagers are giving in to that. And adults and perhaps ponies.
BUTTTT. Alot of this is because of the internet, and Ryan wasn't mocking people. He was exaggerating it, being silly. In fact, who knows, maybe he was trying to cheer up people who were depressed, to show them it was a stupid thing to do. Nobody seemed to take that in though. Ugh, whatever, I'm just irritated.
Also, and I know people really DO struggle against self-harm, as I have said, but nearly every person who was 'offended' was saying how they were battling self-harm. And I know you might beat me to a pulp for saying this (please don't hurt me ;-;) but a lot of people I think don't really do that, maybe they say they do. because it's cool? Emo's seem to be all the rage these days T-T
It feels like whenever there's an issue about emos or just being honestly silly about it, maybe to lighten the subject, people instantly go 'NOPE. YOU'VE OFFENDED ME BEYOND MY LIMITS!' Yet whenever it's sexism, or sweet, beautiful things, or stuff like that, the majority rage about it or make fun of it.
Welp, I'm finished with my rant now. Sorry bout that, you won't have to endure anymore. If you even made it this far XD
