2/16/2019, No New Fic This Week

You know what the big problem with having something done way before the due date is? Having all that extra time before the next due date rolls around to waste time doing whatever whimsical bullshit tickles your fancy. This week, it was less procrastination and more a combination of writer's block, indecision, and my work situation. See, I'm getting ready to change jobs, and this

2/5/2019, The Bucket gets a Hole

Why do I always add the date to the title? To be honest, even I'm not sure anymore. I think it's a holdover from before Fimfiction's blogs had the dates. Either way, more stuff after the break!

    1/20/2019, Wild BLUNDY Appears!

A posted story? Another one finished and waiting to be released? Rewatching the entire series? What is this, 2012?

Nah, it's just a sign of the apocalypse. Beware, readers, for Blundy has officially returned from the dead. Raaaawr.

1/15/2018, Same Old Song and Dance

No big promises this time. No idiotic pledges to write at least 1k a day. I'd like to, but I'm just gonna lean back and put it on cruise control. I want to write again, but I'm going ease back into it, rather than sprinting right out of the gate like I used to try to do.

    7/21/17, Not Dead (Yet!)

I don't really like making excuses, so I'm just going to come out and say it: Between INJUSTICE 2, Until Dawn and working seven days a week, I haven't really done much (read: anything) in the way of writing since my ol' buddy ol' pall Timaeus challenged me to write a TaviScratch one-shot which I promptly started and then stopped working on

8/13/2014, Obligatory, "I'm Not Dead... Yet" Post · 11:01pm Aug 13th, 2014

Hi, all! Just wanted to remind you that this little hiatus is not by choice. My laptop's motherboard decided it no longer wished to live with my laptop's HDD and filed for divorce—then took out a restraining order on it and demanded the disk stop spinning, or else. Naturally, this resulted in my poor HDD slamming his head off the wall repeatedly, and now he has brain damage and the doctors say he'll never remember anything ever again.

Man, relationships can be nasty.

Fear not, though. This hiatus has resulted in me developing an urge to write my fingers to the bone as soon as I can get my fingers on a keyboard. I'll have a lot to redo, because of my HDD's brain damage, but I'm sure it won't take too long to catch up. I only lost... five? Six dozen outlines?

Anyway, I'm not wasting time, over here. I recently took my NREMT Psychomotor Evaluation and passed with flying colors. All that's left to do is take the Cognitive Exam, and I'll be licensed. Then, I can get out of my dead-end job, turn firefighting into a career and buy myself a laptop to write about lesbian ponies on. I've also been practicing my drawing skills, because I got a pretty kickass idea for a manga, and I can't wait to get started on it.

Timaeus and I have been reasonably busy, working on various collabs over Skype Mobile (my shiny new Word Processor) and even started a letter-form collab with actual snail mail letters. However, I'm unsure about the status of the latter, since I haven't gotten a letter from him in over a month! You can expect us to pump out a few medium-sized fics fairly soon, which makes me happy.

The Piece That's Relevant to Faith:
As you've probably been expecting (for what, two years now?) I don't think I'm going to finish this fic. In addition to forgetting my plan for it (and losing the outline—thanks, Mobo,) I've actually come up with an idea for a sequel to Trust that I prefer over this one. So, I'll just spoil the secret and give the general idea of what I had in mind. I owe you all that much.

Yes, Dash's Dad remarried her Mom. The fic was going to focus on the theme of giving second chances to people, even if those people don't deserve them. Dash's Dad was going to be a kind, compassionate stallion who remarried the love of his life after his daughter "left the nest," so to speak. She would have been bitter and cruel—especially to Twilight, after finding out the situation. Lots of things were going to be said, including the absurd line "You used to tie me to a chair and make me watch straight porn for hours!" during an argument between her and Dash. The end would have been Dash's Mother, at the behest of her Father, beginning her struggle to change for her daughter. And there you go. I'll be leaving Faith up, because I don't believe in taking down work, but I don't think I'll be finishing it.

Depending on when I get this new laptop, I hope to have this new sequel up by Valentine's Day, since it takes place on Hearts and Hooves Day.

And... Yeah, that's pretty much it.

See you all soon, I hope!

TL;DR:
Laptop still broken
Timaeus and I are collabing (kinda-sorta)
Lots of ideas
Lots of ideas lost
Faith cancelled
New Trust sequel should be out by Feb (depending on laptop status)

You used to tie me to a chair and make me watch straight porn for hours!

I have many mixed feelings about this line. On the one hand, I struggled not to bust out laughing at it. On the other, I've heard of this kind of stuff actually happening in real life.

On the third hand (what, you don't have three?) huzzah for some good news, at the very least.

Blundy Lives! What fortune dances this day! :yay:

Good to hear from you! And glad to hear all the good news.

Also, the idea of a story written by you and Tim has me really hyped :pinkiehappy:

As usual, I'm more than willing to help with editing. Just hit me up whenever.

I like how you make the parts of your computer in a relationship. :rainbowkiss:

Wait, what's the second sequel called?
