A Question · 8:04pm Aug 13th, 2014
Would you pay to commission stories from me? Not saying I'll do it, I just want to know—and this is a serious question, mind you. The money I need for university made me think about that.
And before you ask, I'm not going to do something silly like put a donation jar up. I'm too proud to just let a bunch of strangers do that.
Just curious, folks. Dancer will be coming along sooner than you think.

I concur.
I wouldn't, although I'm sure others would.
I don't think you could actually get enough commotion funds to add up to anything.
I'd send you a pittance to commission a micro-adventure or something.

It's
beerscotch money.I'm rather against the idea of commissions in general, so I wouldn't pay anyone to be honest.
good question. the writer side of me has to say 'no'. in fact never, NEVER wright for a single person, unless your doing it as a gift or dedicating it to someone of course. but if someone pays you to make a privet book or peace of writing, turn the money down, walk away. it just doesn't work, and you'll end up wanting to destroy the book with a thermite bomb.
on the topic of money and writing. if your getting payed by a publisher then you may just end up as a co-writer, a assistant at least. if there is no money I might just do a colab, with them.
