Sixty three years was several decades too soon.
I have to assume the Almighty had gotten bored of the latest in the increasingly poorly named Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy, and George's Carlin's casual blasphemy was passe. I just wish we could have had him a little while longer.
The really funny ones always seem to pass on far too soon. Except for George Burns, of course. But then I think he might have made a deal with the devil. You don't live till over a hundred smoking like a chimney without some divine intervention.

I ran my halting oracle on your coping subroutine. I have some bad news for you.

No, no, it's an oracle, not a solution. I'm merely the grand priestess to the Great Halting Ones.
The actual video may not suit the situation but I believe the song can.
Yeah it sucks. As a kid, some of my favorite movies were the ones he starred or featured in. Then you hear about what a nice guy he was, and his problems with addiction and it starts to make my eyes water a bit thinking on it.

It's strange, but I've heard that comedians actually have a greater tendency toward severe depression... It's terrible that Robin Williams of all people was apparently one of them.
Death is natural - but damn is it hard to accept that phenomenal people like that funny guy can pass...
