Dead Tree Format Rules. · 2:31pm Aug 9th, 2014
A couple of days ago, I had a big box waiting for me when I came home from work. I knew exactly what was in it, though; I'd been expecting it for months.
So, here they are... the Dead Tree Format versions of Fallout: Equestria, bundled into two volumes:
As you see, the covers are suspiciously pony-free. Though they have quick character descriptions of respectively Littlepip and Velvet Remedy on the insides of the two volumes' cover sheet thingies, and these do come with a picture.
Without the cover sheet thingy, they look like this. Professional!
A big thanks to Spiffy for helping me get my hands on these instead of taking my money and running for the hills with it
And, of course, a big thanks to the book project "Absolutely Everything!" at book.fallout-equestria.com for actually printing these things.
Now, I think it's a pity that Kkat prefers keeping the story as it is, without any additional tweaking; these books could've done with a quick extra readthrough to remove small typos. Her reasoning is that the story is spread over too many sites and translations and such to do more editing on it. I understand her reasoning, but it just looks extra-bad on a printed and bound book, you know?
Mind you, it's just that; small typos. Besides the fact the "lead"-"led" error keeps popping up, it's really not too bad. I still think this purchase was absolutely worth it.
Anyway! I haven't been writing much lately, because this kind of book isn't really something you buy and then just put on a shelf. It needs to be read at least once.
TLDR: No Daily Unlife update for a while; I'm rereading Fallout: Equestria. In Dead Tree Format.
I really hope you can continue the daily unlife when you are done. Its a comedy gem that is just languishing, no matter how preserved the digital format is.

Oh, no question about that. In fact, this may give me more inspiration
(Not as if this delay will be VERY noticeable; several months between updates seems to be my normal modus operandi )
2356035 The off to dwell upon the dead trees for you! And may such continue to inspire, laugh, cry, and bring laughter across the wasteland, no matter how dead the jokes are.
Yay, you received them too!
Typos - not to mention the pony with paws....

Some were really confusing, too... like Littlepip dropping an "apply". Turned out it was supposed to be an "apple".
