    A couple of things

Hey hello it's me the reigning champion of false promises at this point!

So people must have wondered where the hell I popped off to again after being really active to just disappearing for months on end after golden promises about story updates and real ACTUAL content. I have explanations and a kinda serious matter. First of all I'll cover some reasons.

    1. Work work work and more work.

    I'm still not dead! HA!

Thought you'd get rid of me THAT easily? Nope!

Anyway, I hit a bit of a setback with an increased workload, band stuff and a wisdom tooth deciding to not be wise and grow the wrong way which hurt. Like, a lot.

Also videogames. I blame videogames for being fun and I having 0 willpower to resist my urges. I'm still writing stuff, don't worry.

    One-shot coming together

I'm writing a short one-shot for fun as I'm kind of stuck on Xenophobia at the moment. Here's a sneak preview of the description:

Shining Armor is in a bit of a pickle.

    Back to woooork

Yup, as the title says I have gone back to work from my month off. (Heavy industry vacations yeah boiiiiii)

So this means writing is gonna take a back seat until I get back into rythm. The new chapter has starting to take form but it is very slow.

    Artist for cover art

Hey guys, as the title suggests I'm looking for an artist to do a cover art for Bad Company and perhaps some other stories down the line. If you are one or know of an artist who takes commissions for this type of thing please let them know/send me a pm with your rates and I'll give a basic rundown of what I'm looking for. In shorter detail, what I'm looking for is something that could fit this

What the Hell Happened? · 10:19pm Jul 28th, 2014

Yes, what the hell happened to my stories? What happened to the promises I made about sequels and other fun things?

In layman's terms, they went to shit. Here's why.

1. Inspiration died.

2. Interest in ponies steadily dying.

3. Job search.

4. Lots and lots of personal crap going on.

And last but not least,

5. The will to write died.

Lately I've been going through a rough patch, my girlfriend (who will not be named) had a bit of a fallout with her parents that rendered her homeless. (I will not go into further detail.) Since then, she's been living with me in my small apartment because she essentially had nowhere else to go. With that, economy. I will not beat around the bush here, I'm down in the dumps broke. The only economical relief I have at the moment is coming from my parents, as I on slower days work in my father's autoshop. That's not a way to live, I can barely scrape money to rent and don't get me started on money for food.

So, to wrap this up a bit... I'm done for the moment. I can't focus enough to actually write. Pretty much the only free time I have is during evenings and by then I'm so tired I can barely think. Shame it would end this way, but I have to do it. I'm stressed enough as it is and I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do.

Well... Bye guys, it was fun while it lasted.

Ouch, I know how that can be because I went through similar shit myself a while back. All I can really say is to do what you need to do and do not feel like you have any commitments here either way. You can and should leave for as long as you want to without feeling any pressure to stay away or come back.

I also understand where you are coming from on 2 because I have lost most of my interest in the show as well after the mess that was season 4 and especially the finale. At this point, the only reason I am sticking around is that I am still enjoying the stories and community here because I doubt I am going to watch season 5.

The only episodes from season 4 that I've seen was the first two and the finale, didn't bother watching the rest because I had no interest.

Life happens man, you ain't got no obligations on here.

2323945 Ouch. While I am not going to claim the season was great because I was generally disappointed to the point that I skipped half of it, you picked some of the worst episodes to watch. The first one was at best ok from a story perspective with extra helpings of stupid in several places, the second was very forgettable, and the finale was a train wreck on par with Mare Do Well which made a mess of absolutely everything it touched so I am completely ignoring everything to do with it.
