Here is a preview of episode 3. (Save the Valve jokes until after I publish it please, I do one of my own.) I chose this part of the episode because it touches a pretty strong subject. I'll let you know what it is in a second.
The Enforcers run right past a pile of debris. When the coast is clear, Rainbow lifts up a board on top of the debris to check. “Phew… I think we lost them.” She then turns to Twilight. “Alright Twilight, do you mind telling me what in Equestria is going on here?"
“I should be asking you the same question, you're supposed to be dead!"
“Say what?!”
That's right, the Rainbow Dash in the universe she ends up in is dead. D-E-D. Dead. I have a pretty good explanation for this.
Um... gimme a sec.
Here we go, got the text I wanted. This should hopefully explain everything. Sorry for the wall of text, I didn't write it.
Yes folks, Rainbow Dash has ended up in a parallel world where her counterpart here actually did die, and it all happened before the events of the episode 'Magical Mystery Cure' which is why the Twilight Sparkle of this world is still a Unicorn & never became an Alicorn Princess, now I know that DEATH is an incredibly strong subject especially in a children's cartoon, but let's face the facts, Death is a natural part of our everyday lives, all over the world there are people dying one way or another, and sooner or later death will effect all our lives in some way, and children need to know how they should handle such a thing & how not to handle it, because Death could always effect a child's life in someway, be it the death of a beloved family member, a good friend, or even a favorite pet, it's going to happen to us all someday, someway, somehow, and children should learn the right way on how they should deal with it & the wrong way to deal with it, so they can learn to live their lives without having Death effecting them in a bad way, and besides there has been the involvement & mentioning of Death in plenty of children's cartoons & movies, like Disney's Bambi, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Spongebob Squarepants, Disney's Tarzan, Superman, Fairly Odd Parents, TMNT, Batman, Disney's Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Scooby-Doo, Ben 10, Spider-Man, Dexter's Lab, Codename: Kids Next Door, the Land Before Time, the Powerpuff Girls, Disney's the Lion King, Danny Phantom, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Disney's Hercules, Monster High, some Looney Tunes shorts, and many more, heck Death was even mentioned on some Halloween Specials of Phineas & Ferb, but lots of the heroes in those shows/movies & more like them took the Deaths of others & did some stuff to turn them into something positive, becoming the great heroes we all know & love, Death is just another part of who we all are & how we all live, so why not try using it on a show like MLP: FiM, like back in the episode "Applebuck Season" Twilight told Apple Jack she was beating a *DEAD* tree, why even Discord himself actually used the word "DEAD" when he said the phrase "Harmony is Dead", heck even King Sombre is presumed Dead in FiM, Plus in "Hearts & Hooves Day" when Sweetie Bell sang her "Perfect Stallion Song" when she got to the "This one's too old" part she was interrupting a *Funeral* meaning some pony had died yet they never showed the actual corpse, so as long as they say, mention & insinuate death without actually showing the dead bodies everything should be alright for the younger viewers, and besides that, FiM takes MLP to places it's never been to before, and often does things that defy it's Y-Rating, and of course since this is all happening in another dimension it's not a part of the Mainstream FiM universe, plus "With Infinite Dimensions, Comes Infinite Possibilities", and on top of all that, this kind of world would answer the question: "What if one of the Mane 6 had died?" so all I ask is that you bare with me & just give this idea a chance, besides since I already had an episode that had 2 Twilights team up, I didn't want to make it to where we would have 2 Rainbow Dashs team up or else the story would have just gotten mantissas/less creative, and I wouldn't have had much to work with if I made it a world where R.D. was never born, because of the fact that the Mane 6 became who they are because of Rainbow Dash and her 1st Sonic Rain-boom, so the only other option I had was to make it to where it was a world where the other R.D. had died so I would have something to work with here, Rainbow Dash has always been a valuable character in the series' story & a strong source of inspiration & hope, but now that she's in a world where her counterpart is no longer alive & all hope seems lost, she'll have to prove just how awesome & inspiring she truly is, now back to our story.
I am actually considering adding the gore tag to this story, but I don't know if it is necessary. I'll have to check the rules again.
