Destiny Beta: Change of Heart · 10:59pm Jul 26th, 2014

For the fifth and most likely final time, I have returned to the Destiny beta, where for 2 hours that just ended as of this writing, players were allowed to advance to the moon for one more story mission.

Bit of a change of heart. The strike mission was very fun, and the moon 2-hour event today was a nice tease for the future of the story.

Crucible is still horrible, though.

So if the internet works with my Xbox when I move, I may pick it up at launch.

For now, I'm wrapped up in GTA V.

GTA V is fun, though I rage quieted after dying repeatdly in multiplayer, having no one around, people stealing my money after killing me, and having all my characters look ugly as sin.

2318557 Yeah, I have no intention of playing GTA Online publicly, as I've heard the community is as toxic as CoD and LoL. I plan on playing with Brady, nothing more.

Right now I'm playing the campaign.

Oh, GTA huh? Oh man, Online is the most fun I've had ever. No one fucks with me. And I'm the best at escaping other players and pissing them off to no end in my high speed car. And then, being a high level grants me access to the Super OP Combat MG, and the latest update gave me the beautiful Musket. Really, I'm almost a God.

What didn't you like about the Crucible? I thought it'd be cool, if there was some semblance of weapon balancing and no vehicles. I was constantly getting decimated by people even though they had the same gun as me. I think they should make everyone get the same health and same guns, like Halo.

If you meet someone, lag wins.

Heavens forbid if someone comes up behind your back! No way you will kill them!

i had the code..and forgot to play the beta..bah...ill still get it at launch.

I didn't play the beta, not having an Xbone and all that, but my brother did, and I watched. The multiplayer looks much closer to Halo than CoD for my tastes, I watched numerous occasions where enemies took a dozen bullets or so and managed to escape/ turn around and murder him to death.

While there's nothing inherently wrong with that, I knew quite quickly that I would not enjoy it. The single player/ co-op looked like an absolute blast, however. Watching him jet-boost around and smash faces was very entertaining, and I could see myself liking that aspect of it, but, even then, the movement speed and gun handling just didn't appeal to me.

I'll wait and see what they do with the new CoD.
