This scene should have been the most boring thing in the world. It was basically six pages of talking heads, and much of the talking consisted of questions and answers. Twilight would ask a question; Discord would answer it. Twilight would ask; Discord would answer. Twilight asks; Discord answers . . . Somehow, I think I made it work though. I'd like to think, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, that this scene was, at the very least, mildly entertaining.
And another thing I'd like to discuss before too many questions are raised: yes, Discord was out of character. Yes, I intended for it to be so. Why? Because while draconequus Discord may be the embodiment of chaos, humanized Discord (Discord de Lancie) is the embodiment of malice. This will all come up later, should I choose to continue this piece, but for now, all you need to know is that the two Discord's (yes, Equestrian Discord would also be a central character, should I choose to continue) are two opposing metaphysical representations of their namesake, Discord. Same name; similar abilities; different characters.
Which brings me to my final note: as of right now, I have no intentions of continuing this piece. While I have the basic plot mapped in my mind, and have it set up for continuation, I have very little time right now, and am only vaguely considering turning this story into a multi-chapter story called Senior Prank Week, should it go over well. Otherwise, I'll probably just leave it as is, with no real resolution and a lot of outstanding questions. So, if you have any interest in that, or have anything else you'd like to say, good or bad, just let me know. I'd love to hear from all of you.
