Plans Concerning The Story · 3:59pm Jul 25th, 2014
Hey.
Just wanted to let everyone know that despite some writer's exhaust and tiredness, I have been working on the next update for WKMH. I've decided that from now on, I'm going to outline all of the chapters I have planned in a notebook before sitting down to type them out. I feel like this will help me get the chapters out quicker and I can get a more clear visual of how I want everything to look. I hope this can at least fix some problems I've been having with the slow updates, and you should all be expecting chapter eleven to be out within the coming weeks.
I've decided that I do want to submit this story to EQD, but also to delay the attempt till the next chapter or so. One reason is that my current proofreader has found some problems that I still need to fix, so I need to do some more cleanup. But my main reason is due to a lot of the reactions from chapter ten; I have been feeling like some people are getting the idea that the story is about Fluttershy getting revenge on her parents, which is not my intended message at all. And just so you all know, I do not advocate for what Fluttershy did in beating up her dad. I don't want anyone to think that violence is the proper way of handling homophobia.
Anyway, I hope this struggle I'm having with getting through the next update will finally end. I've also been reading a lot of the comments and some messages about how much the story means to a lot of you. As the writer, I wanted to thank you all in return for your love and support for my project. It truly means a great deal to me that I can create something that people can actually connect with. I have been working hard on this story for a very long time and all of your supportive comments and PMs have really kept me going this whole time. I now see that it's gonna take me a while to complete what has become my first novel and I hope it doesn't take over my entire life, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end.

Good people, like you, deserve good feedback. One of the best stories I've read. And I love how the story gives me related feelings toward Mockingbird. You are a kind person, dramacolt.
