The sunlight shined through my bedroom window,
As my head rested on my pillow.
I went and opened the curtain,
Then I knew that I was certain.
Outside it was a beautiful day,
Applejack was in the distance on a bale of hay.
She was sat there enjoying the sun,
Then I saw Pinkie go past with a cinnamon bun.

It's time for me to go to bed.
It is time for me,
To lay my sleepy head.
I ask you all,
Please do not mourn.
Even though I will never again,
See the crack of dawn.
When I'm gone just remember,
