I know, I know... I still haven't updated Lunar Apprehension in y'know. FOOORRRREEEVVVEEEERRRR.
Well good news. I'm not letting it die. I DID promise it would be finished, and when I make a promise, I aim to keep it. I just work at a snail's pace many times.
But truth be told, and I feel I should at least state it.
I no longer consider myself a Brony.
I used to feel proud to call myself one. Someone who stands against the norm or whatever the hell. Maybe I just got caught up in the hype and whatnot.
Either way, I still like the show, Lauren Faust KNOWS how to make a good cartoon. And make a good one she did with MLP:FiM.
But in the end, what destroyed it for me, were the fans themselves.
The 'Brony' ranks have become rife with the filth wrung from the fetid pools of the ever-present 'Furries'. Don't get me wrong, I know there's some great people out there who are furries, but we'd all be lying if we said that the majority of who call themselves that, are some pretty wack and oftentimes disgusting and disgustingly intolerant people.
And they brought that attitude with them.
Gone is the "I'm gonna Love and Tolerate the @#% out of you"
And so I no longer associate myself with that sect of the internet.
I may have pony OCs.
I may have an MLP fanfic.
But I am not a Brony. Not anymore.
Anyway, just figured I'd get that out of the way. AND let you all know that I am in fact, still alive and kickin'.
I'll try to get some work done on it.
