    A Love Note

I've been dead on here for quite a while, and likely will continue to be for the foreseeable future. I am trying to write more, but ponies aren't the basis of my writing right now.

    I really do exist

Dear readers amazed that I still breathe,

I have problems finding the motivation to write... School is getting in the way, and there are so many distractions, from theater I'm in to things to watch, life to plan, instant amusement to lose my mind to...

But I do have more in the works. It's... slow going, and I keep being told I need to write things that aren't pony related...

    Happy New Year Everyone

May 2016 be better in every way than 2015 ever was. May my urge to write finally return. May the wind be always beneath your wings and your spirit soar to paradise. And may peace on earth finally, finally be achieved.

Little something to prove I'm not dead.

    Hey all!

Sorry for being kind of silent... many reasons, not enough explanations. Let's call school and Theater the biggest issues, but I am working on the next project, and once I finally have time to write you'll get to see it.

Medicshy gets jury duty. · 8:53am Jun 6th, 2012

Which, of course, he cannot attend. As a senior in college, 10 weeks in the middle of the semester in a completely different section of the state would not do good for his grades, and combined with them asking me to fly there and sit around in the middle of the musical I am currently in, well... it's not well timed at all.

Oh well. Bureaucracy is magic!

Stupid court system.:facehoof:

I honestly think they actively try and pin you with an inconvenient date. Maybe it's espionage training for CIA interns or something... foiling your plans might be good practice for newbies. :twilightsheepish:

I had Jury Duty last October, so I know what you're going through.
Hell, at least you have a chance at not actually going down there. Me, I got the notice, had my number called, got pulled into a pool first thing, and was scared witless when the judge told me the case might last for months. Fortunately, something happened, like the two parties settled out of court or something, so we all got to go home, but damn those were an annoying 5 days.

I've been studying the Jury system in Legal classes, but other than that I can't say I know what that's like. Well, you've been 'excused', so it's all good. That doesn't mean the won't recall you at a later date, though.

158364 Well it's even worse due to the fact that I'm in Hawaii, which means I need to fly to another island for the federal court, completely screwing everything over. :ajbemused:

158360 Why would they want to foil my plans? What did I ever do to the CIA? :fluttercry:

158383
Like I said dude, it's just training. I think under international laws they're not allowed to do covert training operations in foreign nations, so it has to be US citizens, and Hawaii is as far from the continental US as it's possible to get without crossing borders. It's nothing personal, man; just business. :rainbowlaugh:

158384 Look, just because I may have idly said things against the government's two party system does not mean I'm going to do anything bad, I promise! :pinkiecrazy:

158383
Ouch. Y'all don't have ferries? Or is a timing thing?

158430 The areas between the island can't do ferries, too dangerous. Only planes, and that's too much money for not staying on island.
