The first main Arc of Hellblazer in Equestria is getting ready to gear up.

Okay, I've been playing this pretty close to the chest, but now it's time to pull it out and give a little bit of information. Like the comics I'm working from I like to name my arcs. Things like The Family Man Arc, The Original Sin Arc, and so on are what have been my inspiration. So, seeing this, and also being a fan of Marvel as well, I started coming up with a massive plan for the first major arc in the story. It's called the Equestrian Civil War arc.

Normally I don't like to give out spoilers, but I can't talk about the arc itself without giving a couple of things away. So, I will use the spoiler tag when I think that something I'm going to be talking about may actually be a pretty big spoiler.

So far the arc has mainly been world building. We've seen John sent to Equestria, and trying to deal with what's happening there. We've also discovered that the demon forces he's faced have been out of practice for about a thousand years, so while they're dangerous their tactics aren't that impressive.

That's where Demon Constantine comes in. Unlike the other major demons we've seen so far Demon Constantine does have an end game. It's not just attempting to corrupt and control others. Yes, he is corrupting them, but its in order to stir confusion and to spark what he wants to happen. He wants the ponies' society to splinter and fracture. He wants them weak. He wants this because he wants to come in and offer them something. He wants to offer them peace and harmony, but at his price, and he will offer it only after the war he's trying to set into motion has come to an end.

The war itself is going to spread all over Equestria. It will engulf more than Canterlot and Ponyville. It will spread to every major city the Ponies have created, and their old enemies, enemies who have backed off because of Celestia, will begin to offer aid to the rebels. The Griffin Empire will be one of the first to offer support to the break away cities of Las Pegasus and Manehattan.

Twilight is going to be incredibly important to the arc as well. Well, both her and Rainbow Dash will be. Pinkie Pie will be playing an important part as well, but that will be more toward the end of the arc. Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy will be important, but more so toward the second arc.
