Okay, so what really annoys me when I have an Idea for a fic is. How the hell do you start it? The Idea seems brilliant but for some reason you just don't know how to start it! The start of a fic is important as if it's disliked a lot then people hate it and there is sort of no point in continuing. Not just the first chapter but the first few, sometimes it's the first sentence you can't write properly for your idea or just setting a context so nopony is confused as all hell when they read it!
Perhaps it may be the worry of negative response that holds us back, perhaps it's other things. The only way to find out is to check it and publish it to find out. I honestly suffer this problem for some ideas I'm sure you might like, perhaps some of them will be made public and hopefully people like it.
