Change of speed on Hellblazer of Equestria · 12:16am Jul 17th, 2014
Okay, this isn't about update speed, but rather this is about the speed of the story that I'm telling. First, I know the first six chapters were amazingly fast paced. In truth I'm considering, when I'm completely done with the story, going back through and spacing chapters 1 - 6 out to about eight chapters. I think that it would do a world of good to do so.
That said, the story itself is getting ready to hit the part of Hellblazer that was always my favorite part. The deep introspective part. The part where John still does magic, still is a right bastard, but at the same time it shows a deeper part of his character. Usually this involves a love life. Not going to say that Johnny boy will be in a love life, but I'm not exactly saying that he won't be either.
So, what can you the reader expect?
Expect some dark, some deeper thought, and like any true Hellblazer comic not all of the chapters are going to be strictly John. I've split them up between John and one other person, but there is going to be a few chapters from here on out that will have John as a secondary character. Hellblazer had a ton of these issues, and I always enjoyed them because they showed John in a far different light than we were used to seeing. One of my favorite issues had Chas as the main character. Great issue, well worth reading.
So, be expecting to see some of the characters we've already established take the helm, see the chapters building more character, and see the action, have a little more build. After all, these demons haven't really fed in a thousand years. The doors to Equestria are open, and they realize that there are ponies out there now who know what they are, and how to stop them. Not to mention... We have someone else wondering around that's going to be an major part of this arc, and play an important role for the majority of the story well.
Thanks for favoring, enjoying, and reviewing.
