Regardless, I should be pretty straight here. No, In Search of Mother is not abandoned. It's not on haitus either. It's taking turns with my time just like everything else in my life is.
So, naturally, with no time to spare on anything, I invented a new thing to waste time on. Hopefully the story will pass submission soon so you can see it here on FiMFic, but until then...
I present: Seven Days Until Darkness. It's a mystery story, centered around everyone's favorite bloke in a suit (now with fedora!), Anonymous. Inspired by cheesy 'hardboiled' detective crime noire drama [other buzzwords] media, Seven Days Until Darkness will follow Anonymous in his pursuit of the truth over the course of seven days as he tries to unravel the sinister plot that threatens all of Equestria. It'll be funny, it'll be campy, it'll be a little bit of a parody of the genre, and I think it'll be a lot of fun. I decided to return to the AiE genre because, well, thread 1000 is coming up and honestly I felt like a bit of an asshat about ditching without a word. So here we are. Let's see if anyone even remembers me.
In short: New story! Yay! ISoM is not dead! Salt Lickers Anonymous and My Little Human will not get continuations, stop asking!
So, then, that's a maybe?
