Some Notes and Observations · 7:25am Jul 14th, 2014
When I discovered this site via Equestria Daily, I felt as if I were stepping into a new world. No longer confined to the televison, I was now able to find new creations from the fans who have made this show so popular. I had to be part of this!
So I started writing, and right away began experiencing the joys and frustrations of a new author. Rejections were and are very hard to take, but I'm starting to develop a thicker skin, and as such accept the fact that not everyone will find my work to be the earth-shaking tales which I in my inexperience believed them to be. My journey here is just beginning, but I'm in it for the long haul!
On the subject of "thick skin", I have come across authors and subjects here that I've found to be completely unacceptable, and it was somewhat of a shock as I had believed all who are part of this community had friendship with one another as the default setting. Fortunately I'm also old enough to have weathered such paradigm shifts before, and though I was sometimes knocked for a loop it was never enough for me to abandon the fandom entirely.

Currently I'm revising 'Enchantè', as well as working on the sequel. It's working title is "One Year Later." It's been pointed out to me by better writers than myself my portrayal of Twilight, as one example, are out of character. Therefore the sequel will deal with her coming to terms with her actions that night, as well as further expanding my OC's relationship. Discord will play a larger role this time, and even though comedy is not my fortè I'll do my best with his lines.
Though my followers and favorites for my stories are few I want you to know I appreciate you all and care very much about your feelings towards my work.
