I haven't given you guys an update in a long while, so have some news!

First, yes, I'm still working on Hocus Pocus. Slowly. I was in a slump for a good while but things seem to be picking up.

However, it's on hold for just short time while I once again enter the EQD pre-reader battle! This is a short event where some of the EQD pre-readers exchange prompts and write short stories, all of which are posted by the end of the designated time period. Last time I was in this event, I wrote Infallible, which enjoyed more popularity than it probably deserved. I can't say exactly what I'm working on this time, except that fans of Hocus Pocus may recognize the main character! (And those who aren't reading Hocus Pocus will still be able to read the new story if they want. It doesn't require anything from Hocus Pocus to fully understand.)

Second,, I'm incredibly excited, because on July 17th, I'm making a trip to Canada to finally meet my closest friend in the MLP fandom, MaskedFerret, in person! I'll be spending a few days there with her and probably finishing up the short story mentioned above while there, and I'll be sure to say a little about how the visit went when I get back the following week. So wish me luck!

That's all for now! Expect a new short story, and hopefully also chapter 16 of Hocus Pocus, in the reasonably near future!
