Sparkle No More: Response from prereader · 10:45pm Jun 4th, 2012
Rejected, again.
I had the different prereader tell me that my Sparkle No More needs a lot of work in terms of showing vs telling, as well as more descriptions of scenery and emotions and such. So I'll probably be revamping chapters 1 and 2 in the future, but will leave them up this time instead of taking them down. I'm almost thinking, at this point, I should try rewriting the chapters.
So, my question is this. Will you guys rather:
A) Have me completely rework/rewrite the chapters for resubmission to Equestria Daily before working chapter 3?
or
B) Finish the fic first, then have me go back and rework/rewrite?
I'm leaning more towards the latter myself, mainly because I'm kinda tired of reworking these two chapters and feel like I should finish it. But maybe you have a different suggestion? Post it in the comments. :D
And don't anyone comment insulting the prereaders. They do have standards, some higher than others, and that's fine. But I agree with a lot of what was said, and they do in fact work hard and truly want the author to improve. So it's an insult to them and since I've taken/followed their advice multiple times, practically to me. So insults to them WILL be deleted.
