    Update (Without excuses this time!)

Guess what? I'm done writing the next chapter of Manifesto.

I just need to give my prereaders a day or two to look over it, and then it'll go up.

Until then, here's Despacito being played on a guzheng.

    Hey, everyone.

I've somehow gotten out of the habit of posting updates. Oops.

Anyway, you've no doubt noticed that I don't post as often as I once did in the past. This is largely because improvements in my life situation mean I have the wherewithal to engage in hobbies other than writing fanfiction.

    Update.

Goodness, it's been a while, hasn't it? You're probably wondering why my pace has slowed down on Manifesto. Well, there are several reasons, but the most relevant one is that I find myself rewriting large swaths of this chapter as I zero in on the best plan for Sunset to take. I'm basically going back and forth between two ideas that can't really be combined into a single one, and for

    New Story Incoming

In case you missed my last blog post, I'm taking a break from the adventures of Celestia and Daring Do to write the next Petriculture story. At this point it looks like it'll be fairly short -- about two chapters long -- and I recently finished up the first chapter, which will be posted once my prereaders give it a final once-over.

Story Recommendation: No Gods · 3:52pm Jul 10th, 2014

Yes, yes, I know that your "Read Later" list numbers into the hundreds, if not the thousands, and you have a nigh-infinite number of chapters to read in your favorites list, and furthermore, I am well aware that Akouma's status as one of my prereaders makes me less than impartial, but hear me out.

No Gods is the product of one of the many, many interesting conversations my prereaders have had in the chat box Google provides with Google Documents, and after one or two discussions about the Lunaverse (to which another of my prereaders has contributed), Akouma came up with a very intriguing idea: what if Celestia and Luna both went rogue at the same time, though independently of each other? Furthermore, what if these events happened not in the distant past, but during the lifetime of Twilight Sparkle?

Now, I realize there's a good chance that Akouma is not the first to come up with an idea along these lines, but I also think he's put quite a bit of effort into working out all the implications of a rogue Celestia fighting a rogue Luna with Equestria as the battleground,* and given that stories are much less intimidating in small chunks, I think it could be worth your while to jump in now, at the beginning, because from what he's told me of where the story is going, the journey will be very interesting.

Let me know when it breaks 5k. Sounds too epic for what's out now. Hope it manages a steady update schedule, too full of stories that seem to die before they really begin or get me hooked and they lose interest. :fluttercry:

Many tend to be the ones who write small chapters at that.

Are you helping him with chapters? Do you know we'll be seeing something big soon? Description is badass. Nice premise.

That looks pretty interesting, I'll give it a read.

2271824 - Yeah, I always preread my prereaders' stuff as a matter of courtesy.

I will have to check this out once more words are posted.
