Another art. Also blocks and competitions and stuff.

Okay!

I know I've actually been putting out more blogs than I have stories lately, but that's for one very simple reason: I have been struck with some pretty bad writers block. I've been trying to get words out, but I've made little to no progress on any of my stories. I'm sorry.

There, I said it. Straight, simple, to the point. Now for a long winded change-of-subject!

In an attempt to rectify this, I am currently putting all my writing effort into my first contest story, which will be for the first round of the UK of Equestria Monthly Fimfiction contest. The theme for this will be Slumber Party, and my entry (which is mostly finished) is very OC heavy. By which I mean almost entirely OC's, the characters provided being the OC's of people I've met and spoken to from the UKofEquestria forums. Hell, I've done more than spoken to them, I'm actually proud to say that I've gotten to know them, and the fact that I can call them friends is something that makes me feel immensely privileged. They are amazing people, and the fact they've let me write about their OC's feels like a massive honour.

Okay, sappy bit over.

This story is also another first for me, and that is that it is the first story I'm writing which stars my own OC, 8-Bit. He very much plays the 'wrong-place-at-wrong-time' roll in this story, but if you can't laugh at your own misfortune, what can you laugh at?

Lately, work has been kinda stressful. Just a rough patch for me, had a lot on my mind that I'm not terribly comfortable talking about, but it is just a patch. I've had them before, I'll get over it sooner or later. But lately when I've gotten home, I've just wanted to kick back and unwind, and lately that method of unwinding has been playing Grand Theft Auto 5 (Xbox 360 version) with one of the other people on the UKofE TeamSpeak. To say this person is a troll would be quite the understatment. This art is a fairly accurate representation of our sessions:
