One Story Ready for Alphas

After a full day's work, I've got a story ready for alpha readers. This one is standalone, and is probably going to require some extensive rework to tie the beginning and end altogether, but all-in-all for an experiment prompted by a brainstorm discussion I'm pretty pleased with it. I'll be sending PMs to the usual people, but if you'd like to make a case for being one of the new usual alpha readers, fire me a PM with a blurb and I'll see what I can do.

Alpha Reader: concerned with form and function of story more than lack of comma's or apostrophes. Looking to make sure the message, characters, and story are whole and complete.

I wish I didn't have such a backlog... I'd love to work with someone who knows what he's doing for a change.

(I keep getting editing requests from first-time authors for some reason. It's taxing.)
Oh well, at any rate, I'm better at line-editing than alpha-reading, so this isn't the stage where I'd do my best on it anyway. I tend to be good with details, but not look at the big picture very much.
