Mononucleosis

So I've been struck down by a particularly bad case of mono. It's weird because I hardly ever get sick, and now somehow I have mono. And god damn is it bad. Painful, annoying, depressing, you name it.

I can barely speak at the moment, due to an ever-present sore throat that feels as though someone took an industrial strength sander to the back of my mouth. Fever, aching, coughing, fatigue, you name it. Happy Independence Day, by the way.

Worst thing is that this'll probably go on for a few weeks. Yaaaay. So I don't think I'm gonna be able to get much writing done, not that I have been writing profusely in the first place. But still, I can't work under these conditions. I just hope it will clear up soon.

Also if I see one more pretentious Obsolescence blog, I'm going to boil a puppy
