Dear Princess Celestia,

I deeply regret that I have to inform you of the fact that I'm tardy! Despite the best of my efforts, I did not manage to finish the next chapter of "Wings of Tomorrow ~ Lament of the World" today as I had planned. I am deeply sorry, Princess, but I hope you will find it in your kind heart to give me just a little bit more time and that you'll forget about punishment if I give you some little hints as to what you may expect in the next chapter. Chapter 12 will contain:

- More than 5000 words
- A reference to Final Fantasy IX, one of the greatest games of all time
- An Airship
- Pinkie Pie making a joke
- Bon Bon
- And a surprise appearance by a very important pony that will certainly stun my readers with astonishment!

Please, most kind, gentle and beautiful of all alicorns, forgive this poor mortal author for being tardy, he had not expected this chapter to become so long as it is shaping up to be. Neither did he wish to break his promise to wrap up the Ponyville arc in chapter 12 so he could introduce Rainbow Dash in chapter 13, which is why he will only publish chapter 12 when it is finished, instead of splitting it up in two smaller chapters. I pray you will understand.

TL;DR: Chapter 12 is taking longer than expected, it should be up by tomorrow while I was hoping to have it done today.
