Apologies To My Readers · 4:09pm Jul 2nd, 2014
First off, I would like to thank you all for your continued patronage to my story. Now, judging from the most recent round of commentary, it would seem that I have deviated some from the Slice-of-Life tag, and have, per the suggestions of some, changed this to reflect the current flow of the story. I apologize in advance, as I have stated numerous times I am not adapt at writing for this particular genre, as evidenced by my other works.
I'm sorry for this, and would like to formerly apologize to you all. Should you choose to unfave and stop following this story, I wouldn't blame you nor hold it against you. But, should you decide to stick with it, and deicide to give it a chance, I promise that you will not be disappointed.
Thank you.
As I am partially responsible for this blog post, I say that you have no reason to apologize.
It's your story and I merely expected something different than what you have written.
I won't deny that it came to me as a major surprise to see you taking the story the way you are, but the story is good despite my expectations.
All in all, I only unfave'd the story, nothing more. My thumbs up stays there and with good reason.
Even though I won't be seeing the end of the story, I wish for a pleasant reading experience for those who stick with Michael here!
I like it, although i hope it is reaching its climax soon though.
2251248 No not because of you, I noticed too late when I posted that chapter. But, it's out there, so I'll roll with it. Please don't blame yourself.
Edit: And thank you.
Kudos on announcing the change. Sometimes authors just silently change tags, and that seldom goes over well, especially if the new tag set is significantly different than the old.
The story is still very good, no need for apologies.
I'd say it is less the fault of how you ran the story and more the fault of how inflexible the tagging system is. This is more so for longer stories but even shorter ones can have issues where it can wildly flow through the contradictory tags.

Well, I'd rather tell you all up front, rather than just do it and get a million questions as to why later.

Thank you.

I I've noticed that, especially when it comes to the down time between when the big action-y stuff begins, and the downtime before the next big blow up.

Maybe...
I see no reason to apologize. Stories change as you write them, It happens and I know this and it's not like you are dropping the point of the story (Trixie and Shinning becoming family) but now you have also raised the stakes with the ghost of Sombra along with make his whole story and the story of the Crystal Empire deeper with Sabio and the seven pillars and the star staff. So no worries man I can't wait to see how this all ends no matter how long it takes.

Thank you for your kind words.
2252568 yay, the last few stories ive read had false climaxes and left me annoyed
See, I'm facing a similar problem with my story, If You Give a Little Love. While the 'slice-of-life' is there because it revolves around a mother and her daughter, it also takes place on Bridleway, which lends itself very, very well to melodrama. Though it's becoming more comedic, so if anyone complains, I can always change it to that. I wish they had a 'drama' tag on here, though. Unlike your case, however, I have yet to receive complaints about it.
