Feedback from Coco. · 10:37pm Jun 30th, 2014
Well I am getting feedback from Crimson Coco, and ignoring some pointless comments made by bitter people who just want to take their frustration out on others, there appears to be some issues with my writing. Issues that if I continue to write as I am doing currently will causes some hate from people who may believe I'm snubbing them and their suggestions. Not to mention the few people who want to enjoy reading the stories I made, but can't.
So writing is coming straight to a halt until I can find a solution. Editors have not worked out well in the past (of the editors who would look at clop featuring humans X ponies, one told me that Harsh Lift could not be saved and I should scrap the entire story and start over).
This means waiting for those stories I wanted to complete first, and thus even more wait time before I can go back to finishing Harsh Lift.
Keep eating that Ice Cream Rarity. This will take a while.
What sort of commentary brought the story to a halt? I thought everyone liked it.
2247020 Agreed. People rather liked the story.
Arg what a shame
Dude, in any content provider community there's always a contingent that just can't be satisfied. They may choose to bitch about your style, grammar, characterization, subject matter, whatever, doesn't really matter. The point isn't that you did something wrong, but that they get something to bitch about. Fuck those guys. Do what you've been doing. It's been pretty good so far.

Not quite. Many people were annoyed at Harsh Lift for it's spelling and grammar, but gave it a pass because they liked the core of the story. A few people had trouble understanding what was going on apparently but it was given a bunch of likes.
With Crimson Coco many of those same people 'gave it a pass' again, but not without leaving behind their annoyance at the fact I didn't improve (some even claim I got worst) with the spelling and grammar. Some claim they could not get past the first 1K words due to all errors that kept them from enjoying the story. Many felt I had been purposefully ignoring their critic to improve.
As such, if I release Comfort Stuffing (the next story with Rarity) without having a solution to this issue, things will turn ugly.
Edit: They are also been people who have complained about the story because it was either: 2nd person, Anthro, involved humans, all of the above, and one person complained it stared the 'worst pony' Coco in it. These people, I don't care one bit about.

I didn't notice any errors in spelling and grammar. Not to say there weren't any, but none that were worth noticing to detract from the story.
You can't please everyone all the time. You shouldn't even try. As long as the vast majority of people enjoy your work - which I'm pretty sure they did - then just keep working. If it truly becomes an issue, then the first person who complains, ask them to point out the spelling/grammar issues they're complaining about.
2248725 Agreed. Not many will like the story and yeah their will be jerks that think they are critics but their not. Many peeps liked your story so it is worthy.

True, but this one of those situations were I am heading towards the 'no returns'/'unforgivable' part for most readers. Something that shouldn't be taken lightly. I either have to try to find a solution (or attempt one), or be fully committed to burning bridges and giving angry readers the finger. Because there's no going back or apologizing after this.
