    So apparently I'm "controversial" now

As you guys (probably) know, I'm a member of a group called We Hate What's Happened to MLP, a group whose premise is that we obstensibly still like the concept of Pony, but in terms of execution we feel like it's gone all Konami on us, or Sega circa 32X and Saturn.

I found this video on Youtube

Just gotta say... I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this stuff. I'm not gonna degrade the video further by adding my own thoughts.

How to Win Debates the Brony Way!

Bronies have this "debate" thing down to a science, especially when it comes to handling people who criticize the Holy Scripture of Hasbro! Since Bronies never lose debates and are never wrong ever, it perhaps behooves us to learn their secrets. Well, being the nice guy I am, I will give them away!

    And here they are:

What an "Attack" Is -- a Definition for Non-Fools

One funny thing is lately I'm accused of "attacking" people, a lot. It's led me to realize people have a very skewed version of what "attack" means.

Here's the kind of comment I might typically make:

This person came to my web page and flamed me over a comment I made about a TV show.

Has MLP Hit a New Low?

So I haven't watched the latest ep yet, but a friend summed it up for me.

Apparently, Twi moved into her castle, but it doesn't feel like "home" to her. So they all decided to decorate it, but they each decorated according to what feels like home to them, not according to what Twi would like. They realize the problem and redecorate, and then everyone is happy.

More proof that "One Bad Apple" was a terrible message for kids. · 7:02am Jun 29th, 2014

I wonder if my pet stalkers from Canterlot.com are still watching, because some stories I've uncovered lately have shot some more holes into their peachy-keen "authorities only want whats best for you!" childish scenario.

First up I have a story of a kid who did exactly what the episode said to do... and got arrested for it. That's right kids, report all bullies to adults. Worst that might happen is you'll end up in jail!

But my problem with that episode was always that, on a larger scale, a kid who grows up depending on adults to deal with bullies is gonna be an adult who depends on police for protection, and guess what? That's a bad idea too, because the Supreme Court ruled that the police don't have to protect you. In the case I just linked to, the woman had a restraining order on her abusive husband, who wound up kidnapping her daughter after police failed to enforce the order... proving that restraining orders are nothing but pretty pieces of paper. She should've bought a gun. I read about a similar case where a pair of women were raped repeatedly, and the police failed to respond... and the Supreme Court (which, remember, is the highest authority in the country) sided with the police.

So yeah... kids who take "One Bad Apple" to heart are gonna end up arrested, raped, or at worst, dead.

Then again, intelligent kids wouldn't watch any MLP past the first (and parts of the second) season anyway.

Have you actually tried watching old MLP and then new MLP to compare how much they make you want to chuck your laptop at the wall?

2394163 Actually yeah, I have. It's something I actually do on a semi-regular basis. And I've found every time that I generally enjoy season one episodes while the later seasons tend to be a mixed bag.

Though I would never consider hurting my precious laptop :pinkiesad2: Poor waptop, I not gunna hurt oo...
