If there is any one piece of media I'd want to show the ponies, it would be what I consider to be Mankind's crowning cultural achievement.

Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.

I want to see Pinkie Pie exposed to that. The madness that would ensue would be glorious.

The new chapter of Falling Stars was overall well received, so I'm glad for that. Taking a break before I start hacking at 19, but I ought to start writing that in the next week. Journal will be updated daily whenever I can.

I'm also considering adding in side stories to Falling Stars at a later date, showing some of what I imagine would happen between major plot points. For the story I've been following the path of BattleTech novels by skipping quieter parts to keep the flow of the story going, but I've had some ideas and interactions between the characters I'd like to see happen, and I'm wondering if that's something people might like after the main story is done?

For me personally, the character interactions are the best part of your story. The fighting is just icing on the cake .

Yeah I think while you've captured the feel of the novels, the genre you're crossing over with takes advantage of those side moments. MLP finds a lot of strength in the slice of life side of things and I think the human characters you have created do as well.

Yeah, which is why I've felt some sorrow that I've had to leave the slice of life stuff aside, because if I didn't this thing would still be in Ponyville. But the real thing I really want to do is show the interaction between the humans and the ponies, especially petting the latter because I WANNA PET THE ADORABLE PONIES EEEEE reasons.

This cartoon has made me into something I never thought I'd ever be; someone who adores cute and adorable stuff.

Anyway, story. Yes, gonna have to think about it. Might wait until a lot more is done yet, so don't expect it soon.

Oh, this is so fun, like that time when Dashie and I went around pranking everypony well almost everypony we didn't prank fluttershy because she'd take it too hard and you know we're not exactly immune to her adorableness either I think Rarity might actually keel over with a seizure if she got Flutters on full adorable and then we'd have to be 'quick let's get her to the hospital' and then there would be a lot of running and screaming and wailing and a great gnashing of teeth and oh my gosh that movie was just so funny I can hardly sit still it felt like my whole body was experiencing amusement and not just in that part of my head where it usually comes from and I'm like 'oh that's funny haha' but no this is like 'this is the funniest thing in the world and I feel like my life has been made more complete having seen it' and I know that's kinda wordy but I am borrowing the author's brain and fingers here and you have to understand I looove to talk and he's just got so many words here and they're all just lying around so messily Twilight would flip out if she saw it and I think she did or at least the version he runs in his head when he needs to know how the 'real' Twilight would act though some ponies might say we're not real but you know what I think we are but then I might be biased and that's not good when you're judging things like cake and certainly cake can be very subjective I think the word is I'm not sure if I'm using it right—"
