YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
So I've got writer's block, I've got music block, and I've got art block. DAMN YOU TRIPLE BLOCK! Alright, here's what's up. Let's go in order, shall we?
First off, writer's block. Pretty obvious with this one. I haven't really published anything new in a while. (Except for Survivors, but that's just something else entirely.) Currently, I am in the process of writing the second chapter of That Others May Live, but once more, writer's block struck! I am stuck in the middle of the military draft process, which is rather boring. Thing is, it's a huge part of the story...I just don't know how to write it out so that it would actually be readable instead of "OH MY GOD THIS IS BORING AND LIKE TWO SECONDS LONG!" I man, how else could I do it? Like this?!
The give of them walked into the recruitment center quietly. As they approached, they were asked to go into separate rooms to be examined. Once the examination was done, Button was told to go to the Air Force along with his friends.
Okay, so now what?! I have to make a whole chapter! GAH!
Problem two: music block. Okay, in case any of you didn't know, I also make saxophone covers of different songs, particularly pony songs. I am in the middle of making one for the Smile Song, but I can't come up with a good enough improv section. Not to mention that the rhythms are all over the place and my articulation on the current recording sucks. I'm literally going back to the drawing board with this one. Oh, and did I mention that I was going to make a cover of Long Way From Equestria, but I sucked so much that I gave up? Music is hard, damn it! GAH!
Lastly, there is art block. I've been bored out of my mind for a while, so when I'm bored, I doodle. Here's my problem: eventually, doodling got boring too. So I decided, "Hey! Let's do that post-season 4 artist training ground challenge thing!" Sounds like my artist block problem is fixed, right?
WRONG!
The first challenge was to draw your favorite mane six character, which for me happens to be Rainbow Dash. This should've been easy for me; I've drawn her plenty of times. Guess what? FOR SOME FLIPPING REASON, I CAN'T DRAW HER TO SAVE MY LIFE! I happen to be one of those people where if I don't go in order with a challenge like this, I lose my mind. So, I'm freaking stuck with having to try literally hundreds of times to draw a character I've been able to draw forever! GAH!
GAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAHGAH!
