Chaotic_Ink.deq has encountered a fatal error from 1000+ favorites, 150+ watchers, and 750+ likes. Please reboot to get his worthless hide back to work.
So... anyway before he crashed we had a bit of an issue. See, he has this new character for the next chapter that may or may not end up being part of the bearer guard, but he can't decide on things like name, colors, mark, etc. After a successful debate-

4. They're a professor of science at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, specializing in magical genetics. That's they're cutie mark and name.
5. Chaotic Ink reserves the right to mix and match from multiple entries, but credit WILL be given to all contributors.

I'm not sure if we should list disposition/personality or not. I feel it would make the OC's feel a bit more... concrete than just a color palette here in the comments. Not sure if you're even looking for that kind of stuff or not, as I know not all personalities can work in the kind of scenario presented.

Achievements: mixed the genes of a snake, tiger and goat to create a chimera who now roams the fire pit swamp (this way it ties into the canon story), fiddled around with plant and demon genes creating a relative to poison joke and the one he is most proud of, annoying the nobles to a level nopony thought possible.
Backstory: born with a mutation that gave him different coloured eyes, Puzzle has been called a freak and made fun of, but that never stopped him from doing what he loved best, studying genetics. After graduating from Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, Puzzle wanted to thank the princess for the kindness she gave him so he grew her a rare creature, a chimera. She was impressed with the fact Puzzle created a chimera with genetic manipulation instead of the old methods. When it matured, it was let free. After studying harder and researching further into genetics, a small branch of the ever growing tree of science, Celestia made him the first professor of science at her school for gifted unicorns. He once fiddled around with the genes of a demon and poison joke, creating the plant known as toxic prank which looks like poison joke but black and with weirder effects. He showed it to Celestia but it had the weird effect of turning her into a fluffy pony, she forgave him on one condition, make more of the plant so she could use it to prank the nobles when they got to snobbish for anypony's tastes... Which is all the time. When they found out he was behind the plant's creation, the nobles were absolutely livid with him but it was kinda hard to take them seriously when some of them were foals, some old and some turned into Discord knows what (one was returned to his true form... A pig), thankfully Celestia defended him and they became better friends.
Personality: usually an easy going pony but can be a major prankster at times, his favourite target are the nobles and sometimes the princesses as well. Because of his past, Puzzle hates bullies and if somepony is being bullied no matter what, he will defend the innocent party even if the bully happens to be a spoiled noble or a general brat (Diamond Tiara, watch out cause if Puzzle catches you making fun of anypony, run. Run and hope you can escape). Even though he is a fun guy, he can get Twilight level defensive when it comes to genetics and can memorise facts relating to genetics like Twilight can get stressed over not pleasing the princess. He can get pretty aggressive when you insult a friend of his in any way but apart from that he's a nice pony who gets on along nicely with his students and the princesses. He also happens to know Twilight and Spike because she chose genetics as one of here electives during her time at Celestia's school. Apart from knowing that he is Twilight's assistant, Puzzle gave Spike gems in return for answering questions about first hand experience as a dragon, they also hang out by pranking the nobles (a pastime Spike dearly misses doing with Puzzle).

his name is spirit. (yes I watched the movie, that's where I was expired) he a blind unicorn who is a botanist. originally he is going to be a side character in my story but I was debating if I should keep him or not. I'll probably keep him as a background character. I should also mention that he's married to a Arabian horse (because why not). personality will be up to you. Granted I have one for him but I know it's easier to work with a blank slate. however I must ask you to make an older then midnight group.

Kind of like Robert Langdon in personality, minus the eidetic memory and fear of heights. Actually the second one could stay.
