West Wing with Ponies?

So I just had a weird story idea....

First of all, reprise just came out, and you should be reading!!

Second, Has anypony here seen either The West Wing or Yes, Prime Minister?

These are shows that are basically comedies satirizing political life in the White House or 10 downing street. I really like both of these shows (In fact, west wing is one of my favorite shows on the planet).

So I had a thought, the internal political drama of Canterlot Palace.

If you think this is a good/bad idea, tell me. My thought is anyone who's seen the shows will get what I'm going for.
