    U. S. Government needs to follow the Brony philosophy and stop discriminating.

What I am about to post, is showing that the U.S. Government has crossed the line with all the holiday BS that they have been showing. Read the first amendment that states that they can't make a law about religion!

Bleh, I have some problems with getting stories updated. Only updated Griffin Village recently, any who, I now am listening to depressing songs and reading stuff like askbutchershypinkamena on tumblr.

Will someone please explain why so many people dislike the Appledash pairing? I have no problem with Flutterdash, but to be honest, Appledash was, and still is, my favorite pairing for Applejack, and Rainbow Dash. So will someone explain why so many people are hating on it? If you can, I thank you.

I'm not sure, but I think many people just think that it's a pairing that should never work out, and they get pissed off if it does. I myself don't really care about the pairings, only that the two being paired are happy in the end. (I sound like a marriage counsellor or something). But anyway, that's my opinion. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but it's my best guess.

Makes sense. And if they are happy, yes it's good, but also being happy means that they must be compatible, and if they are happy but get in to many fights, and they are bad fights, then maybe they shouldn't be together. I don't mind dislikes on a story but when I have that many, and nobody comments upon what was wrong, it's annoying.

True that. It's good to get feedback, how else will you know what you can improve on. I think that if you dislike a story you at least owe an explanation as to why you dislike it, and what you think could be done to improve on it.

This is just a guess, but I think they might have hit dislike when they saw the word Appledash.

149306
That would be annoying. Why can't they give a story a chance, instead of basing their opinions on one word or phrase!

Because while they say they follow love and tolerate they are like the #1 asshole in my school. Still a hater, just lying about it cuz they like the show.:facehoof:

Calling people "haters" and such isn't the best way to get peoples attention or even a way to reason with them on what they like and dislike, it's a rather childish insult that quite frankly should have been pulled down to the bottom of the depths of the ocean. But, I digress.

People have different preferences in shipping and sometimes there are a large amount of users that dislike certain ships for their own reasons that they cannot explain, either it's too "popular" or the stories made about that shipping are usually bad or indecent. (As for the ships that I dislike, it's mainly Twilight x Luna and Twilight x Trixie.)

I do have a couple of ships that I like and they manage to make quite a few users angry. (Well, they are technically shock-ships so they are supposed to make people angry. Applejack x Big Mac for example. The best kind of ship in a clop-fic that gets a lot of people mad.) And a shipping like that recieves thumbs-down or negative criticism, not just because of the subject matter at hand, but the actual Authors skill at writing a good and interesting story can usually end up on the tipping point of making an opinion to the story. Yes, some people on this site that actually just look at the cover image and the description and then usually rate it without reading the story properly.

I don't know what else to say, but I hope some of these reasons can help you out a little.

I see your point, and for a while I would have never put Twilight and Trixie together, but I read a good written story (I don't care about grammar) called chocolates and flowers, and me and my friends aren't sure why, but it seems legit. Sometimes people should just give faith a chance.

I knew not that many people would like it. I warned you. I'm a Flutterdash person myself, but I do like Appledash, just not as much.

You know what finger i'm holding up.

165496 I'm not trolling! I keep forgetting to like the story! I don't have that much of a problem with AppleDash
