Just Bugs But Probably Shouldn't

You notice how some groups are named after their founder or thereabouts.
There is literally a group called IIRC "Stuff I Like".
For me it's like "how very vague" or "how egotistical to think the stuff you like is so darn important as to be seperated from the rest of the fics solely by virtue of your appreciation".
I'm also not too fond of Lovecraftian elements in fics. I just never understood the whole "beyond your comprehension" thing on a visceral level. I suppose because it is for all intents and purposes impossible to write about the incomprehensible because it's impossible on a meta level to create something truly incomprehensible since if the writer can't comprehend it he can't write about it.
Anyone have any pet peeves that they feel are ultimately irrational.
