Burning! announcement

Burning! as you may or may not know, is the most violent story I've written. That most definitely does not mean it's the best or doesn't need a good polishing. As I've said before, I'm updating every story of mine and I've decided to change Burning! in a big way. Besides the regular polishing I've given it, I've made the story so that instead of Mars, the Fertogas worship the hydras. Yes, I did in fact get that from the meme, but besides getting a cheap laugh out of somebody who still enjoys that meme, it actually gives me a lot more room for were I can take the story. Besides being lore-friendly, worshiping the hydra is more relatable. People know who the hydra are, they know about them, and they aren't tempted to think of a planet whenever their names are mentioned. However, I don't want people who've read the story to read the next chapter and be like 'Wait, hydra, what?', so I'm going to take the original down and resubmit with the new title "Hail Hydra" (yeah I know, I'm a terrible person). Main reason I'm changing the title is because I'm getting rid of the idea of Big Mac becoming obsessed with fire. It just wasn't going anywhere, so I'm scrapping the idea.

Anyways, I guess the biggest reason behind this all is that I've changed. It's been MONTHS since I've even thought about this story. That's a big enough gap that I look back on this and want to change so many things about this because I have new ideas and I've forgotten where I was originally going with this. Personally, I think I've gotten better, but I guess that's yet to be seen.

Oh, one more thing. I'm going to take this story down tomorrow and submit "Hail Hydra" after that as to give everyone a chance to see this blog post.
