Explaining Pinkie Pie's magic, and magic in general.

Okay, I just had an idea, its a work in progress, so bear with me.

Pinkie Pie is an earth pony, one of the strongest earth pony mages around (like Rainbow dash is one of the strongest Pegasus mage around).

If I take a bit of a leap, and assume that Earth pony magic comes from earth/stones, and general pony magic comes from emotions, we can assume that Pinkies brand of magic just gets power from earth, rocks,crystals and plants, making her able to absorb crystaline structures much better than any other pony, and drawing power from earth, taught channeling happiness of others, making her as strong as Sombra.

Also , I assume that many ponies have traits of multiple tribes, one being predominant, but other one expressed in smaller way. Like Prince blue blood being part Earth pony, because of his statue (earth pony body, and unicorns horn), and I assume Sombra was ether unicorn, or earth pony, that used crystals to channel his magic (explaining the weird color of the horn, and ability to cast magic when the horn was damaged, and his ability to power up from crystals). I assume that the crystals resonate the emotions in some way, like crystal heart. Pinkies minor pegasi lineage allows her to boost her physical abilities past the point of most earth ponies.

Crystals (crystal balls, pendulums, exc) are traditionally used to predict future. Assuming that Pinkie heavily resonates with earth, she is possibly channeling the inherit qualities of crystal ball taught her body, explaining the twitching.
As for the ability to hear stuff, earth moves sounds better at distance (many people put their ear to the ground, to hear approaching Riders/trains).

As for Popping up everywhere, I assume she has similar ability to walk taught crystals as mist and reform as Sombra.

As for super speed/endurance, her body is just made up differently, making her able to break down, and recreate crystalline structures, while resonating with background magical/emotional energy (happiness). Her overuse of emotional magic channeling is making her bit insane, same as Sombra.

This assumes that earth ponies have inherent affinity with crystals, and that ponies specializing in magic outside their race, have a bit of mix of the race, of whose magic they are using.

Now for the head canon stuff, I can't really defend.

-Gaseous magic Theory-

There are different kind of magics, with witch you can interface differently. Pegasus are good at "swimming" taught the background cloud, and earth ponies are good at metabolizing magic/transforming magic into strength/growth energy.

And unicorns have an antenna, with witch they can transmit magic. Feel it too with enough training, but they can only recreate as much, as the can "vibrate"(cast spells) their horn. All the spells ate just a way how to get on the right "beat" to preform the spell. (bit more complicate than that, but otherwise I have to list of what every kind of magic does).

So my head canon is that there is background magic "cloud", in witch there are base vibrations (kinda like wind in atmosphere), and that magical beings can interfere with it by flapping their "wings" or other organs. Also the "cloud" consists of multiple "gasses/gas mixtures", witch are types of magic, and one of them is really common (the telekinesis one), so its easy to find/manipulate. Its possible that alicorns/unicorns/exc emit some of it out of their bodies(by transforming the energy they get from food into it).

So unicorn magic is basically "blowing" on tings really hard, at proper times. Also some gems might emit some form of "gas", explaining the magical artifacts. Also, the magic "gas" can be compressed into liquid or solid, as long as it's in proper container for the type, making it possible for artifacts.

Earth ponies can resonate with the compressed magic in crystals much easier than other races.

The gasses react with souls (which are complicated magical construct, that sustains life), especially with pony emotions.

So yea, those are my theories, I hope I could get my point across, and sorry for not being elegant,as my English,writing and communication skills are pretty bad.
