If the title isn't a give-away, today is the anniversary of the day I arrived. Thirty-two years old... Seems kind of 'eh', to be honest. Not 'eh' as in depressed, more that it feels like just another day.
I had wanted to get the next chapter of Myths out to everyone today. Like a hobbit, I like giving gifts on my birthday. That's... not likely to happen. The chapter is close to being publishable, but I want to give myself more time to go over a few aspects. It's just shy of eleven thousand words, at the moment, to give you an idea of length. Edit: And it looks like, once again, plans and I don't mix. New chapter is up, though it feels a little rougher around the edges than normal. Could/should I have delayed to give it a few more passes? Maybe. But my inner perfectionist took a back seat to wanting to get it out. End Edit

Eh, other than my blog and writing here, I don't really interact with the fandom all that much due to my 'issues'. I'm in a rather good place right now, and that means I only have a minor panic attack going into the back yard to cut the lawn and get out once a week with my brother to watch a Tuesday movie matinee. For me, this is like the old City of Heroes forums when I used to post and don't really think about the other peoples ages.

Birthdays kind of lose meaning after 30, there's only so many times you can celebrate yourself before it gets boring, specially when you realize you might now be closer to death than your birth. Didn't stop me from a week of debauchery in Vegas this year, though!
