I think I'll start off by saying that Canis Ezo Kage is still coming and that's not going to change, only my use of my free time will. I haven't been writing for a while but that's more because I've got a phycology class that requires my attention, and I'm bored out of my mind. Well ok I still have a shit ton of free time and I'm still not using it effectively. I honestly want to change that but I have neither the patience or resolve to try.
Also you may have noticed the title. I REALLY WANT Pandora: First Contact. It looks like an amazing game but it costs $29.99 and I've got issues with money. Yeah I'm asking you guys to buy a game for me? Problem? Well maybe, but not when you hear what I have to offer.
I will be your best fucking friend on the planet. I will join you in online games (that I own(Side Note: I have 87 games in my steam library)) And I will write you a story about how awesome of a person you are. Even if you're a total prick. That or...I'll write whatever story you want me too. I'll take even the bullshitist idea and try to write it into the greatest fucking comedy on the face of FimFiction, hell I don't care if it's not a pony story. I'll write it even if you spend thirty hours trying to think of the worse possible story on the planet just to make me suffer through it. I'LL FUCKING DO IT! I'll also take it very seriously...I'll also help you write stories that you want to write, be your editor and stuff.
Or of course, you can get me to put my time into updating any story, or even rewriting one of my cancelled or on hiatus stories.
IMPORTANT: I'll write the first chapter of the story and hang with you before you buy the game for me. I don't want to give you guys the idea that I'll take your kindness, fuck your mother, then sod off.
Oh and comment here on the blog if you're interested. I don't care if you get a rich friend to buy it for me either.

Yeah just wait for it to go on Summer Sale, it almost assuredly will.
But why does it interest you? It's basically Civ in space, but with various Aliens instead of Barbarians. Alpha Centauri, if you will, but Civ : Beyond Earth is coming out soon anyways and knowing Firaxis, they're gonna be updating it for a while, therefore adding loads more content and improving the majority of it that's already there like they usually do.

2197525 Wait... Civ has a beyond earth DLC that's coming out?!??! JESUS CHRIST WHERE WAS THIS SHIT?!?!? I recently got the Civs 4 beyond the sword and I can't buy this game because of it when I played it was...well underdeveloped but a shit ton of fun.
Yeah, if I were you, I'd just wait for Beyond Earth to come out. Better to save up for that. Not to mention I'm hype as fuck for it.

2198237 Actually, Civ : Beyond Earth is the NEW civ game coming out in... the fall I think? It's supposed to be a remake of Alpha Centauri, which is a FANTASTIC game by the way,
2200630 Yeah I looked into it and I'm not all that sure it's any different from Pandora. Pandora you can build units that you CUSTOMIZE where Civ just gives you them. I also think Civs has only 3 space factions (but it has space warfare which is awesome) or three policies (like order freedom autocracy but nothing else). But Pandora has more alien faction units that look KICK FUCKING ASS, as opposed to Civs that seems general. Honestly I think Pandora is a better choice because it's specifically MADE for colony defense. But it doesn't have the space battle stuff that Civs has....
Actually I feel gipped with either one, since none of them feature galactic planetary colonization and space battles to the extent I expected. However Civs has the workshop and released source code, it won't take too long for someone to develop a mod that allows full on space battles (but only if there are enough unique space units).

Yeah, the Steam workshop that'll be added with Civ might also add the Workshop customizer from Pandora, too. Really, the possibilities are endless. I for one welcome the fifty thousand or so Mass Effect mods that'll be released to it, totally flooding the workshop and making it hard to browse through.
