And then there were words. · 11:04am Jun 10th, 2014
What the hell, me? What. The. Hell.
It's been... a little over twenty-four hours since I declared that I had hit the 5k word mark on chapter twelve. Now? I'm looking at 8k and wondering where they all came from. I'm honestly clueless. It's not the OCs, because I've done that before. It's not the brevity or the subject matter. I just don't know what went... right.
That said... I am so very glad that the last few chapters have been almost solid comedy (Not counting, uhh, you know, Celestia) because if this one comes across half as strongly reading it as it's been writing it, it's is going to be a pretty rough ride.
Since i really like your brand of comedy, i'm also very glad that the last few chapters have been very comedic.
One thing i thought about on the fly though that i had been meaning to ask about in the story comments:
What's with the "big" words? for example:
wouldn't it be easier to just say "explode" or similar? this is not the only case, if it was i would have chalked it up to merely being there because twilight would use them.

Some of it might be a case of thesaurus-soup, though I try to be very mindful of that. Situations like the one you quoted are very much because Twilight is Twilight, though

Okay, good to know.
3k words overnight? Keep it up.
