    Making Meaningful Blog Posts

Instead of the occasional dumb post I make in the form of a blog, what do people think of me taking genuine effort to put good content in my blog posts? I'd occasionally do stuff revolving around stories, but I wanted to know if stuff like writing tips, my personal style, talking about stuff, reviews, etc would be well-received. I've got a bunch of ideas and I love to talk, so it wouldn't be me

    Full Work on OTHAFA

Hey, I know I've been kind of an inactive guy when it comes to updating OTHAFA—most of that is because I was off of the site for the better part of... 2 years? 1 and a half? I can't remember. Either way, January was mainly my time for finishing off The Dancer (and if you haven't read it, I would recommend it). Now that it's finished, I'm going right back into the adventure. It should update a lot

Updates and Excuses and Drama, Oh My! · 3:45am Jun 10th, 2014

Sorry, Dancer fans--and fans of mine for all of my stories really (and some of you that aren't fans of my stories, but of me :D). Prom happened, finals studying happened, getting a job happened, earning $5,000 in scholarships and then another $5,000 in scholarships for subsequent years happened, catching up with friends happened, video games happened... yeah. A lot of stuff happened.

Sit tight, Dancer fans. It's almost here. You might want some Fries ready when you read it. Maybe get a reading of Gilbert Gottfried to make it cooler. Catch my drift?

Nah? Oh well. Expect it sometime in the next day or two. Or four. And not to mention I already have chapter X done, so after this one all there is is VII, VIII and IX. VII will likely be another regular chapter, but VIII and IX will either be one normal chapter and a long finale, or a long two-part finale. You can comment if you prefer one way, but it almost certainly will not change how I'll do it when the time comes.

Hills is being worked on again. Yay! Dancer is first priority, though. I might also work on a human story for Obs' contest, which I don't want to link because I'm on my phone and it's harder to do on my phone. You can do the hard work for that. But yeah--human story. Yep. Nothing can go wrong.

Yay, drama around the site happened too!

Oh you, fimfiction!

If you've seen the two or three comments I've made on appropriate threads regarding the TgTf incident, then you know my stand on it. If you haven't, I'll just keep it brief: I had my suspicions, but kept quiet so that people wouldn't pounce on me. I like seeing drama just as much as the next guy, but I keep quiet about it.

Anyway, yeah! Did I mention I got a grand total of $10,000 in free money? It was cool.

Free money is cool. Way cooler than all of this drama, right? Now go out there and make money.

I honestly grinned like a maniac when I read that you got those scholarships. As someone who's currently about to enter senior year, I know how important these things are. You looking at any big time colleges, or local ones?

Yip

2194483 I already confirmed my entry to the University of Guelph Class of 2019 (5 year coop program)--Canadian university. For Canada, that's a "big name" as any, along with a few others.

The US is way, way too expensive for me to even consider. Best spend my time going for scholarships for Canadian universities, which are much cheaper!

2194514 Yeah, the college I'm looking at down here is going to cost between 20 to 29 grand a year, and it's just a local liberal arts school. What do you plan to major in?

Yip

2194713 Bachelor of Engineering, major in Software Engineering. Costs around $11,000 a year, so I'm a lot better off than you are :P

Congrats on the scholarships! College is horrendously expensive, so those will definitely help out (if not as much as anyone would hope.)

I have no idea what you're referring to about this drama or incident or whatever. Either none of the people I follow have said anything or I've been living under a rock the last few days.

Interesting, the univeristy I am going to be going to come September, has a Bachelor of Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering as separate.

Personally going for BE majoring in Computer Engineering.
