I am so stupid... Revisions to My Little Luna · 8:15am Jun 9th, 2014
So, often when I get comments on my My Little Luna story, I make an effort to reply to the vast majority of them.
Some comments have included people saying things ranging from
This story is like swiss cheese with problems.
to
You really need an editor.
When I first started writing My Little Luna, I wanted it to be entirely written and edited by me, and me alone. It's my first story, so I wanted it to be unique in that aspect.
When I saw comments saying I need to make edits, I just brushed them off as people being douchey. And, what stuck out to me was that the people that said the story had problems, NEVER said what those problems were, thus why I brushed them off.
Today, I actually looked into why people kept saying the story had problems. I'm a fukin' idiot, I found dozens of problems concerning spelling and grammar. I fixed all of the issues I found, so I hope it would be easier to read. That, and I hope it would stop people saying how many problems there are haha.
So, yeah, I hope you enjoy the revisions!
Well, first of all in regards to the needing an editor part...all authors need them. I tried editing my own stories and found I still kept finding mistakes months after publishing my work. Get an editor. That's the best decision you can make when it comes to writing. Even the best of writers have an editor peering over their shoulder and letting them know "all you base are belong to us" is not a proper sentence.

I'm good friends with Keeper of Harmony, whom wrote the ever so beautiful My Dear Shy. We chat on Skype all the time, and we trade editing favours.
He's read My Little Luna, but I might ask him to peruse through it and point out any grammar and spelling mistakes if he's up to it, although I've fixed all of what I found, but it's always a good idea to get a pair of fresh eyes.
I've got a few people that could edit for me, and currently my editor, Elusive Element, is doing an absolutely superb job of editing The Worlds End! (Go give him some love.)
I apologize for my earlier comment. I got angry and overreacted instead of just walking away like I should have.
