Progress update on Chapter 11, and ideas for a sequel · 4:15am Jun 9th, 2014
Hey all!
I know it's been awhile so let me get straight to it.
Chapter 11 is well on it's way. It's going to be from Annabeth's perspective and is mostly filler as the war progresses. I'm also throwing in a bit of good old demigod "magic" (in the form of Iris messaging) to the chapter. I've got plenty of ideas for Chapter 12 and onward. After Sombra and Chrysalis are dead, there's still Kronos, and he won't be alone either. For now let's just say that the Season 4 finale gave me a few ideas. I also have even more planned after Kronos is beaten, including a trip through Tartarus, closing the Doors of Death, and ending the The Heroes of Olympus series my way, before Book 5 comes out.
I'm even brainstorming my way through a sequel, at this point. For now all I can say is that the sequel will revolve less around Percy and Annabeth and more around Nyx and Screwball. The events of this sequel will explore the (albeit my headcannon of the) origins of Equestria, and deal with powerful creatures, both good and bad. The sequel would take place some ten years after the ending of the current story, therefore twelve years after the present time of the story at the time of this post. A little preview is all I can show you, and you'll have to forgive the poor vector copypasta that I threw together for it.
Wait doesn't it mean that the next story is not a sequel but just a different story in the same universe?
