How To Make a Perfect Story · 4:27am Jun 7th, 2014
Hey guys! Sew today I decided I would make a tutorial on how to make an interesting, eye-catching story. (I haven't posted any stories yet, but you can expect good things from me I hope.)
1. Make sure you have an attention-getting title. Ex: For a dark Princess Celestia story, maybe "Setting Sun." That will give the reader an idea something bad happens to Princess Celestia and they might be interested in reading it.
2. Make sure you have a catchy cover art pic. Readers will be less attracted if there is no picture, or for ex: a pic from a pony creator website, or a plain picture with no background. Ex of a good picture:
3. No matter what themes or maturity levels u do(such as dark, tragic, romantic, etc. and everyone, teen, or mature) there will always be ppl to read ur story, small or large. But more teens and adults are interested in sex, gore, or romance things. Saying MOST, not all.
4. People might be attracted if you do ponies out of the mane six, such as ponies who aren't used much. Ex: Sunset Shimmer, Vinyl scratch, etc.
5. Most ppl do NOT like alicorn OCs. Ocs in fanfics r ok, but a lot of ppl don't like alicorn ocs. Trust me, I've learned myself. (Again, I said MOST ppl)
Well I hope this tutorial thing helped you out! Wub u guys! ^3^ ~Vinyl Dash
Not sure if you're aware of this but I already have a Celestia story titled "Setting Sun"
