Changeling Roun Chapter 10 publish date. Unofficial plans and sequels. Waiting for the new Movies. · 11:09pm Jun 5th, 2014
Okay, so, the next Changeling Roun draft has been looked over, and I'm going to publish it by next week. The confrontation between mother and daughter continues! XD
With that said, I'm still working around my head on a few plans and sequels, one of which is definitely something I'd put in my own AU folder in the Gentlemanverse Group. Or as I now like to call it, GG (you know, coz we don't have much of an activity, and it's really just a place to put the stories). As I had said way way before, I was planning on making transition fics to move the timeline forward. My first fic was more of a prequel called First Contact, which are a collection of short stories that build up how Tellus and Earth slowly get to know their new neighbors. It'll most likely involve the two Princesses, and some blogs or discussions on the nature of magic, life, and love. Okay, maybe not so much the last, but yeah.
The other fic following First Contact would be called Transcendence, which marks the first situation in which the two worlds change completely. No spoilers, but it will involve closer ties and changes.
I also have another sequel in mind, but it's AU. The premise is: what would happen if Eve and Harry got lost in Spacetime, and are trying to get home by travelling to other universes? I wanted to make it a bit to an adventure comedy, that pokes fun in some aspects of fandom, both MLP or Otherwise. It was mostly an excuse plot to have a collaboration with kira and his story. However, I also have an image of Eve covering Harry's eyes as she glared at the confused Milky Way, and I think there's potential in it.
For now, waiting for the How to Train Your Dragon 2, and deciding whether I should watch Edge of Tomorrow. Those that watched the latter, should I?
Let's see... Tom Cruise or sequel to awesome movie...
Yeah, I'd go with the awesome movie sequel, of the two. Just sayin.
Why not both, though?
Why not both?
You actually should give Edge of Tomorrow a chance. It's a really good film! Groundhog Day meets Starship Troopers, basically. Some really good action and some great gallows humour all the way through it. I actually liked it so much I bought the book it's based on (And yep, the book is waaaaaay different)!
Of course my choice is easier as we folks in the UK got Edge of Tomorrow a week BEFORE you guys in the US, but it's still nearly another month before How to Train Your Dragon is out....dangit!
I hoped for more proper sequel to Gentleman for Mares, you know, with romance and feels.

Monies, though it won't actually be much of a problem.

How is it different, the book, I mean?
2180221
That's still on the books. Like I said, unofficial. XD
2181178 Oh wow, where to begin. The main character is totally different, the day he lives is totally different, the training he undergoes is totally different and the ending is totally different. Really the only things that are the same are the character names, the concept of the Mimics and the concept of the time loops and their cause.
That's about it

Is it the usual 'Book is better' type of deal?
2181552 Actually? No, not this time! I enjoyed both of them! The way they play out is so wildly different that each can be enjoyed on their own merits. The book is a bit more dark and serious while the movie is... I don't want to say light hearted but there's a lot more humour in it that's very fitting for the situation the main character finds himself in. Both stand up very well.
