Ok. Anyone remember my last blogpost when I said Desert Spice should update soon? Well, soon is finally here. I've got the chapter completed, I just need to run it through my editors to make sure I didn't miss anything (and that I didn't do anything too stupid).
As for why this took so much longer than expected, turns out finals season was starting up right as I finished that last epic-sized blogpost. Yeah. The apparent lull in school work was just the calm before the storm. It's officially summer now, so that shouldn't be anywhere near as much of an issue. Sure, I'm still looking for a job (on the off-chance any of you are both employers with entry-level positions open and live/work near Walnut Creek, CA, Hi!), but I should be able to work on writing, art, and all manner of things more consistently for a couple months.
Assuming that I can get in touch with my editors today, I should have the new chapter of Desert Spice up sometime tonight after I finish coercing Fimfiction to format it correctly.

well it's nine in the East Coast, so you may be wrong about timing. but I'm pretty sure that it's around five in the West, give or take. you should of just said; around the end of the week.

I am well aware of the irony of the situation.
It's totally out of my hands, though. Turns out one of my editors was on the road all day, while the Iother was completely incommunicado. While I technically could release what I have now, I'm afraid to release horse words to the general public that haven't earned at least one of their stamps of approval.
Sorry for the delays, though. I really should have seen this coming when I tempted fate in a blogpost tangentially about tempting fate being a bad idea.
