I was looking at the "top 100" fics on the site - as in, if you go to the browse option, and sort it by rating, these have the best ratio of upvotes/downvotes, I think. However the hell the algorithm works here.
Look what I found at #76! 
Also, a word count of what I'm currently working on... not Just A Couple of Ponies chapter 9, sadly, but something else~

2156489 The list is a bit questionable, yes. It's mainly a favs to downvotes ratio. If the ratio is a bit better on one fic, despite having many fewer votes in the first place, it could be considered "better". Also, older fics won't have as much attention, so to speak - if I reposted Mood Wings today, i'm sure it would get a whole lot more interest.

Hmm, I always thought it was based on the number of likes to dislikes — which would explain why one of my stories isn't in the top one hundred, despite the fact that it has a like/dislike ratio of 68 to 1.
Anyway, enough griping from me, congratulations on your position!

It's a bit of both I guess? I'm not sure what it is exactly, the ratio itself wouldn't mean a spot there. You could have 100 to one and not be in the list - If you were in a 100 to 1 ratio with 10000 upvotes, however, you would be!
If that makes sense. And again, this is speculation.
2795 up to 41 down... is also a 68 to 1 ratio, like you. Mood Wings just has more of them. XD

I doubt as he would rewrite it as he has the sequel on indefinite hiatus. I don't see why he would rewrite regardless because you haven't mentioned why you don't like it and while the author might take it into consideration, most don't rewrite everything because one person thinks it's bad.

First, while I think Applejack's stubborness to continue with her life, despite being a godess, is legit. But other characters would have let they Princesses know much earlier.
Then, I do believe Applejack gets in a huge fight with Luna. I don't remember the details, but I do remember feeling like it was sloppy and unnecessary.
Then the tale of the Heartstrings, which I found quite uninteresting, and I wasn't even sure why it happened.
I also think it's a very bad idea to make a fangirl your personal guard. Just...no. First, she will probably become a bit too worried about your well-being. Have you read any of those fictions where Celestia is tired of her subjects treating her with so much care? Well, that.
And did Merry May even had some sort of militar training? Maybe. But when Applejack decided that she would be her Captain of the Guard, she didn't know. And I though Applejack found Merry May annoying!
And at the end...giving Applejack the title of Princess...okay, I guess. Giving Apple Bloom, Granny Smith, and Big Macintosh titles was completely unnecesary and quite absurd. What for? What's the reason to give three some ponies nobility titles?
Oh, and there were some moments when I didn't even know what was going on. Some authors use some sort of mark to put a skip in time of scenery (Such as '***'). But I don't think Blue Print did (Or at least I don't remember), and thus sometimes I wasn't aware of the change.
I think I may be leaving some stuff behind...
