I'm not quite dead, sir · 6:59am May 29th, 2014
If you got the Monty Python reference, an internet cookie for you.
Now you may be asking: "what the [enter angry expletive of your choice] is taking the next chapter so long to appear?" Well my dear readers it's a combination of lack of sleep catching up to me, family events taking place as summer approaches, laziness, work schedules getting swapped around, and of course to top it all off a nasty-ass flu bug that bit me earlier last week. It's a little beotch. Well that and I've been stuck on one specific scene I'm in the process of writing. That's right, good ol' Phil's got writer's block. I will state this, once completed this chapter will be the LONGEST I've completed to date. That being said I've come across two paths. I can split it in half, or at an appropriate point and give you half now and the other half when done; OR I wait until I'm finished and publish it all up at once. Decisions, decisions. That and I have some character based decisions I need to make based on two of the races that have yet to be entered in the Foreword chapter: dragons and griffins. Primarily on whether they appear as they do in the show, as humans with specific characteristics, or as anthro-humanoids.
Regardless I decided to put out this little update to prove that I'm not dead, though my lungs feel as though they are. I am still working on that last third of the chapters for content editing, my internet as of late has been a little bit of a bitch when it comes to connectivity and dead zones in my house. Yeah, that's pleasant isn't it?
Well I'm signing off for now to work on the story some more. Need to get in contact with me? You know what to do.
