Coming to you live from a brand new Asus laptop (I was using an HP before), Comet Burst has returned! As my first act with this new beast, I present to you my celebratory idea for achieving 1500 followers, voted on by you!

Wow. That sounded really convoluted, like a MTV Music Award intro. Read this while I flog myself for that.
With the romance and character development being the main pull for The Golden Armor, I sat down and thought about potentially beginning another Royal Guard romance story. As luck would have it, this idea hit me around the same time I published Everypony Talks, a silly comedy about overreactions set to Neon Tree's song Everybody Talks. I put my Royal Guard romance on the backburner for a bit while I tried to work out my current stories, but with the advent of 1500 followers and Neon Trees, this idea has become a story I think will be perhaps the culmination of everything I've learned from The Golden Armor while tackling the universe Everypony Talks is set in with all the silliness that you know and some surprising drama you hopefully will salivate for.
I present to you Sleeping With A Friend, a much larger arc set in the universe I'm going to call the Neonverse (TGA takes place in the Blagdaross-named Armorverse), the one solely inspired by Neon Trees. If you listen to the radio, you may have heard their song of the same title many times and, I gotta say, I can't stop listening to it.
So, here's the premise: we have a kinda Royal Guard named Trades, short for Jack O Trades (working name), who has a unique relationship with Fleetfoot of the Wonderbolts. And by unique, I mean she just dumped him for another nameless stud she met while on tour. Trades is understandable not happy about this, but he's such a kind and friendly guy, you wouldn't guess it was eating at him. One of his squadmates, a mare named Sea Breeze, decides to cheer him up and takes Trades out for a few drinks.
One drink leads to another and so on, causing Trades to almost blackout. Instead, he and Sea try to stumble back to his house, but they make an unexpected stop at Sea's home where Trades spends a rather interesting night sleeping with Sea. He wakes the next day with a splitting headache and afraid of what he did last night, but Sea assures him she hadn't seen him that happy and that he was rather good last night. Without much subtlety, a trait Sea lacks in spades, she offers him the chance of a lifetime: a no-strings-attached relationship.
Done yet? Man, I don't think I've been this sore since I went on that mud run a couple years ago.
So there you have it. Sleeping With A Friend is the next story I have in my arsenal and is almost completely through the planning stage, which is odd for me because I usually never plan my stories. I plan to make this one almost as saucy as Left With A Kiss, but to retain the humor of Everypony Talks and the romantic tension The Golden Armor prides itself on. Think of it like this: I'm so happy you all want to follow and read my stories, I am willing throw out my regular routine and deliver to YOU my best work possible (under current circumstances).

ASUS is a good brand, though I've never personally used their computers... yet, once I get my new desktop built I will be using an ASUS motherboard.
Are we allowed to pledge a favorite ahead of time? Cause be should be.
