He everyone Grim here, I know i said that the story would be up in a week....and well its been pass that but I was working on it! I'm having one of my dear friends and incredible story writer MisterSheild help me write it :D hes been a great help and I owe him a ton! Any way just to show you all that i have been working on the story here is a sneak peak of what I have so far -w- so tell me what you guys think and I'll be sure to reply to your comments ^w^ Note: For the song part I am still working out so yeah...but let me know if this song is a perfect fit for it ok :3
Note: Had to rewrite the beginning for this chapter. I give 100% credit for the new beginning of this chapter to WingPwny he helped me out big time. Thank you very very much WingPwny I appreciate it a lot.This is my very first story and I hope you all like it. I will be having other characters from other stories like Alex from a New Hero, but before I can do that I need to ask him first before I can put his character in the story, in later chapters. So for now enjoy the story and be ready for more later on. Also just to let you all know I was inspired by Alex's story to write this. You should check him out and give him a lot of support on his stories. He deserves it :). Enjoy. P.S. I am redoing this chapter. So if you see something incomplete I must apologize...but i will complete it so yeah....anyway, enjoy the story :D Also if your wondering about cross overs the cross overs wont begin until after possibly 7 or 10 chapters. The first cross over will be in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean I wont spoil the rest though so you'll just have to wait ok (- w -)
Prologue Part 1: A great evil is released once more...
Vast plains of ice, ravaged by wind and wrapped with storm clouds, stretched toward an invisible horizon. Hard, icy snow whipped around occasional crystalline peaks before disappearing in the colorless haze. One jagged structure though, was noticeably different. it pulsed with darkness, as if, resting behind it, were a lightbulb that worked in reverse, stealing the light from the world instead of giving it.That wasn't far from a horrible truth.
A horse's form was slumped against the back, barely shielded from the blizzard. Rusted plates of armor hummed, their numerous dents and cracks catching the wind and singing a dying tune - inside them rested the battered, burned, but almost intangible body of King Sombra. Despite the environment, emerald fire flickered in his eye sockets, and a fire burned in his mind that he couldn't quench. He, the undisputed lord of big-ass fart clouds and mexican hats, had been vanquished not once, but TWICE by cute little ponies that he was born to rule. It was unjust. It was unnatural. It couldn't be allowed to continue. However... the king knew, though he hated to admit it, that he was too weak to have any hope of regaining his lost dignity and power - only a shadow of his former self remained.
Sombra's immaterial ears shot up and swiveled, hearing more of the spirit world than the real one. At that moment, the moment of reflection changed into apprehension. A cry of pain, followed by a chuckling echo. He could feel the schadenfreude reverberating through him, the joy of the antagonist - a joy similar to his own.
"Perhaps," the king whispered, "perhaps this is one who I could relate to. One who could possibly heal me... might come at a price..." He had always been cautious of other great powers such as he, but here, a thousand years in the future, there were so few. "I need help... we all need help... damn it, this is my only chance." The armor-clad figure surged to his feet. His head spun, but he shook it off and scanned the spectral plane's horizon for the source of the feeling. Blackened spikes of ice grew around his hooves as his internal compass spun, homing in on a point southeast of his position. With no other choice than to follow the darkness, his body disintegrated, armor flaking into elemental iron and aluminum. The mist of particles hovered up toward the clouds, fighting the wind, then vanished into the dim, white light of dawn.
1 hour later....
After continuous walking through the icy blizzard that he relentlessly fought to move on, Sombra had stumbled upon a very dark cave. There was a white crystal above the entrance of the cave and it seemed to be losing its glow. Sombra didn't care about the crystal since it was possibly there just for show, what he did care about was what was inside the cave itself. He couldn't tell how deep it was since it was pitch black inside the cave. A sudden dark aura came from inside the cave and as soon as Sombra sensed it, he felt great fear towards what ever was inside it. The aura grew powerful the more closer he got and the power that the aura produced was far beyond him making him nothing compared to what was inside. But that only made Sombra more curious on what made him feel fear for the very first time.
"This evil...it's far the most evilest thing I have ever encountered in my entire life!" Sombra said as he entered the cave. “And it just keeps growing and growing! I must know the source of this...” The unicorn grinned, “madness.” The unicorn slowly continued walking through the damp cave with only the flames from his eyes producing some light. The more he continued walking, the more he felt weak to whatever was inside that could easily kill him in a flash if he wasn't to careful.
As he continued walking through the cave, he felt more fear towards what ever was inside this deadly cave. As he walked he found dead ponies skeletons that seems to be more than a thousand years old, some that seemed more than 100 and some that looked at least more than ten years old. Those facing the pathway led deeper inside the cave and some were facing towards the entrance. It seems like some didn't see it coming and some did but never got a chance to escape in time.
"Poor fools, they didn't stand a bucking chance to whatever did this carnage. I should turn back now but...," Sombra said in a low and shaky voice as he looked ahead. He notice that the fear was gone and only curiosity remained, the aura was still their but not as powerful."Something is telling me to keep moving forward...I have to find out why!" What ever this thing was, should have killed him by now but... Now was not the time to dwell on thoughts. He began to wonder if the thing inside could relate to him as well and possibly work together. As he continued, all of a sudden a demonic and terrifying voice came from deep inside the pitch black cave
"Please let me out...and I will grant you far greater power then you have ever gained before!" A voice tainted with blood thirst and demonic venom rang out. It was almost terrifying. "You show great fear to me do you not?" It laughed diabolically as two glowing red eyes and razor sharp teeth appeared, the teeth were producing a dark aura and the eyes could strike fear to even the bravest of ponies or beings.
Sombra was right about this "thing" being far more eviler than him. Just from the energy and the way it sounded, this being was not just far eviler and powerful...He was also a complete demon!!! Sombra backed up a bit fearing for his life as he seen two glowing red eyes and razor sharp teeth dripping with blood possibly from his recent victim before him. Sombra grinded his teeth as he stood his ground and tried to show no fear even though he couldn't hide it. "You must be blind demon! I show no fear to any demon, mortal, or anything at all! I am King Sombra ruler of the shadows and king of the crystal empire!! I show no fear, not even to you!" The former king tried his hardest to show no fear whatsoever, his voice was a bit shaky and legs almost betrayed in shaking. That foul emotion of revulsion coursed through him, as fear was not welcomed.
The demon laughed once more as he thought this was a joke. After 5 seconds of laughing the eyes suddenly appeared in front of sombra right into his face and a terrifying Shriek cross between a dragon and a Banshee came from the beast before speaking "Ha! You think your ruler of shadows?! You thought wrong you pathetic excuse of a king! I am the shadows! I brought terror, darkness, and gruesome deaths to all of equestria and to those who stand in my way! You're nothing but a pathetic excuse of a king who lost to a mere baby dragon! You are no king, you are no ruler, you are just a shadow of a mere monkey! If you say you show no fear to me, Then follow me into the chambers of my mind!" The demon grinned as it backed away slowly so sombra can follow him as it was laughing diabolically. Sombra gulped and took a deep breath in as he pushed the fear of this demon away from him in order to follow this demon.
As Sombra continued to follow the demon, he started to feel uneasy about following it, he didn’t know what it could do to him. All of a sudden, torches with black fire began lighting up the pitch black cave. The torches were lined up against the wall and were inside pony skulls. Sombra's eyes widen in complete shock to see what this demon looked like. The demon was made of complete darkness and shadows, you could actually see right through it, what made Sombra so shocked was the shape of the body the shadows made. The shape of the demon was that of an Alicorn. It had horns of ram that could shatter a brick wall in one ram, razor sharp teeth that could chomp a pony in half in one bite, glowing red eyes that were so menacing it almost seemed like it could see right through you, Large bat like wings that stretched between 3 to 4 feet long, a long dragon like tail so long, it can wrap around a giant bolder like Tom, 3 razor sharp claws on each hoof that were so sharp, it could cut down a pine tree in one slash, and stood one foot taller than princess celestia herself.

After the demon appeared in front of him, all of a sudden Sombra started hearing music in the background, he wasn’t sure where it was coming from but this was a day to day thing with the ponies after all and the demon began singing. It was a bit catchy but also disturbing as well.

As the song came to an end, the beast looked down at Sombra and grinned menacingly at him before speaking "Like I said before, you are just a puny little unicorn who thinks he's the king of darkness, when you are only the king of stupidity! If I wanted to, I could strike you down now and consume you like the rest of those pathetic fools who dared enter my domain!" The demon then turned around as it continued walking deeper inside the cave.
“Then why didn’t you?” Sombra asked wondering why this demon didn’t as he walked a bit more closer to the demon. If this demon killed all those ponies back there why doesn’t it go and kill every living thing in equestria then? Then it came to him, was this demon trapped in this cave? Was the crystal the seal to his imprisonment?
“That reason why I didn’t is because I need someone like you to help me escape this blasted cave.”
That is what me and sheild has so far, now for the reason why i only have this much is because I'm actually waiting on shield to help me out but he's been quite busy and well yeah...so it may delay for a while but I promise you this story will be incredible!!! I pinkie promise ^w^ Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye :3 anyway see you all later ^^
I've got to warn you, writing lyrics in your story automatically makes the mods refuse to approve it. I know that one from experience, so I'm just pointing it out. What you'll often see writers do is something like this:

thxs for the advice ^^ i was actually going to do the lyrics because i was going to add some other stuff as well, i actually seen haze shift do that in one of his chapters ^^ so yeah o3o oh well ^^ I'll be sure to do that and hell yeah disturb is an awesome band! I love their song divide it is freaken awesome! Also how do you like the story so far? ^^

2146381 A new and original Sombra story? I love it! You will need to edit your writing a little bit, but it's already readable as is. Action centric stories are a rare comodity around here to be honest.
glad to hear XD but in later chapters the main focus will be on my oc grim ^^ btw how did u like the art my two friends on google plus made for me? the one with grim in a different is his heavens armor form which will be introuduce in a very very later chapter ^^ also shield is actually helping me with the editing so it will be fixed :)
